chapter 5: Definitely bluffing.

Xander's pov

Two days Later

I shook my head while coming down from my car on getting to the front of the company building, it's been two days since I met met the guys at the bar,but that still didn't make the drunken voice of Andrew exceed my brain as I continued to ponder on the obvious jokeful " Advice" he has given me bar, I mean it was constantly ringing in my head like an alarm clock.

As I made my way into the office building, I noticed my employees murmuring from different directions, as each of them tried to adjust whatever it was they were doing, I wasn't surprised though,since I got it everyday considering the fact that I never even tried to do as much as send them a smile in a day, I even heard the rumors that went around about me being a very ruthless boss and always being very serious but I never did as much as try to pay any attention to them.

Ignoring all the tantrums going on around me, I made my way towards my office as I glanced across to see Miss Anessa copper my new personal assistant already sitted behind her desk and also rolled my eyes noticing the fact that my secretary kept on sending seducing looks towards my direction , I knew I had to get her out of the company but I couldn't do so regarding the fact that her father was an investor of the company, I mean the last thing I wanted was him taking an investment just because of the fact that I had fired his "slut" of a daughter.

Finally heading into my office, while sitting down on the rotating chair I felt my phone buzz from the front pocket of my suit pocket, indicating that I had a call coming in, I took a look at the screen of my phone to be met with the name of brother against the display screen of my phone.

" Hey Alexander.....you in the office?" I heard him say mockingly from the other side of the line, of all the people in the world Williams knew how much I hated people calling me by my full name but he always didn't hesitate to do just that knowing how much it got on my nerves.

" Of course, I am....where else would I be,and it's Xander to you Williams" I practically screamed at him hoping against all odds he'd finally stop calling me that.

" Chill out bruh.... didn't expect you to be all grumpy early in the morning" I heard him say further with mockery clearly evident as he spoke.

" Look I don't have time for your tantrums this morning.... their are other things I'd like to attend to" I said while making an attempt to hang up the phone on him, not getting anything important from his rather annoying call.

" Okayyy fineee....... Before you hang up, I just wanted to confirm if you were in the office already cause I'm in front of the office building" he said hurriedly before I could hang up on him.

" And how should that be a buisness of mine, Williams" I said while gritting my teeth, slightly irritated at the fact that I was having this fruitless discussion with him.

" I have to see you for something important"

" And what ever could that be Williams" I scoffed knowing Williams to always claims things to be important, but not yielding any fruit when you finally try to take said thing seriously.

" It's regarding the investors" he added firmly.

" Okay fine, would be in the office waiting for you" I replied while I hung up on him.

In nothing less that five minutes, I heard a firm knock against the door while typing away on my laptop.

" Come in" I said not trying to confirm from my secretary who it was, as I already suspected it to be Williams, being that I didn't get a call from my secretary before I heard the knock on my door.

" Is there anytime you aren't angry or too serious?" I heard Williams Annoying voice with Amusement laced in it as he made his way while towards me and took a sit directly in front of me while smiling mockingly at me.

" Can you please stop the small talks and get on with the reason,I allowed you in here in the first instance" I said firmly not ready for Williams small jokes.

" Okay fineee" he replied as I watched him roll his eyes at me.

" Ermm.... I have been able to speak to Mr Whesly concerning the investment of shares in the company, and he has decided to actually invest more into the company, only on the option that you don't get to fire his daughter from her position as secretary" he finished while looking at me intently

" Like I had an option" I scoffed, obviously sure of the fact that he was securing the shares in the first place just to ensure we kept his daughter in the company.

" Okay fine that would be all" I said firmly making an attempt to finally dismiss him but he obviously wasn't budging.

" You really don't have to make it that obvious that you do not want me here"

" I mean you didn't even care if I also had something I was willing to share as well" he said while putting his hand against his chest to show a very playful pained expression.

" Finee....what could ever be serious with you Williams, I mean asides the women you parade yourself around the city with" I said while rolling my eyes not paying any attention to what he was saying any longer.

Every one in the city knew Williams to be one of the biggest Playboy's to ever exist, I mean he was a man of the ladies, was always with a different lady every different day that passed by, I mean he practically changed them like he changed the handkerchief he used to wipe his sweat each day.

"Woah...that was harsh" he said as he tried a lot more to put on a very pained expression but just ended up failing woefully.

" Whatever Williams, if you don't mind I have work to do" I muttered as I pressed the intercom to notify my PA ( personal assistant) to get me my schedule for the day so I could go on with the days work.

" Yeah yeah I'll leave....but not until you tell me where you got that fine ass personal assistant of yours from?" squinting my eyes,I started intently at him as I tried to understand where the discussion was heading towards, just then I heard a knock on the door as Anessa walked into the office.

" Talk of the Devil, and it would appear" I heard Williams whisper lowly which staring at Anessa intently, as he grinned from ear to ear.

" If it isn't the beautiful Anessa copper" he said as he continued staring at her further,his eyes almost boring holes into her body.

" He...yyy , di..dn't think I would run into you here" she said while shuttering awkwardly as a blush crept over her face slightly embarrassed as she also took several glances towards direction, probably Wondering if it was right to be having small talks with Williams with me sitting right in front of them.

" Ohh yeahh... actually came to see my brother here, plus the company belongs to our family, just made the serious one the CEO" he said while sending a playful wink towards my direction.

" Ohhh" she replied but not in the slightest way sounding shocked, and I could just tell she already knew he was a brother to me, but I didn't expect less though, being that Reena was the one who referred her here and not withstanding the fact that she should have seen his face on countless fashion magazine's as regards his reputation which also aligns to the fact that he had another Job in which he was a model, hence Williams never really had a private life as the publicity were always in his buisness.

"Okay...why do I have to feeling you already knew that" I heard Williams say while voicing out my exact thoughts.

"Erm..... Ren..na ha..ppened to tell me yesterday after I got your message" she said still shuttering lightly as she still blushed from obvious embarrassment.

" Can I get my schedule now?" I finally voiced out tired of Williams totally acting like i wasn't even in the room to begin with.

" Here it is sir" she said while she took out her book where she has jotted down my schedule and began to read it out to my hearing.

" So Aneesa..."

" That would be all for now miss copper you can head out now" I said cutting Williams short before he had the time to continue where left on, regarding the fact that he was totally shredding on the last ounce of patience I had left.

" So you got her number....do you mind telling me how you did that?" I said with furrowed brows

" You know I have my ways Xander..... just had to flirt with Lisa a bit and she was already giving me informations about the lady" he said while shrugging his shoulders, obviously not seeing anything wrong in what he had done.

"You know employees information are meant to be confidential right?" I asked while feeling my stomach turn at his act of carelessness, I mean the guy could do anything just to get between a ladies thighs.

" Ohh snap out of it Xander ....it was just an harmless act,stop trying to make a big deal out of it" he said while talking totally bored obviously not wanting to hear the fact that he had gone against companies policy to get a ladies number.

" Anyways I really do have an eyes on her already.....she really is beautiful" he said practically drooling as he earned a weird look from my direction.

" Okay stop bluffing" I said while sounding uninterested but I could not also lie about the fact that her brown eyes has the ability to draw you in just by staring at them.

" I'm not.....but you would not notice it, when you don't want to take a look at another lady,‘’ just because you are stuck up on Diane" he said slightly irritated and I rolled my eyes at him cause I had been expecting it from him since he walked in a while ago, but he didn't voice out anything probably because he was so dazed by the "beauty" of Aneesa.

" Okay that did it.... you can leave my office now, I have more important things to handle, rather than hear you drool over another girl" I said firmly while making a second attempt to send him out of my office.

" Yeah I would leave.....but trust me when I say this, this one would be totally different....I just have the feeling" he said as he winked playfully at me while raising his hands to signify that he was surrendering as he stood up to make his way out of my office.

" Whatever Williams do whatever it is you please, but keep it out of the company...... cause it's not right to date an employee"

" And close the door behind you" I said while raising my voice out loud for him to hear knowing Williams to had a bad attitude of always leaving the door open when he makes an appearance at any given place or probably he just did it to annoy me further, knowing how much I hated it.

I took a deep sigh feeling relieved at the fact that I was finally able to get Williams out of the office as I knew Williams to be very adamant if he has made up his mind to talk about something, also considering the fact that it was something he liked" women"

Deciding on going through my phone to check through social media one more time, before I went on with the day schedule, the thought of what Andrew said two days ago at the club, suddenly invaded my brain again and I started to think if I could get the plan in motion with my personal assistant, considering the fact that Williams had constantly made it clear that she was beautiful.

It was crazy that I was thinking of getting my personal assistant to help my malicious plans regarding the fact that I knew Williams was interested in her, and also as regards the fact that it was against the company's police, but I really needed to take Andrew's jokeful advice if it would help me clear my mind of any anger.

Plus nobody had to know about it, I only had to act like I liked her during the time I would carry out my plans, it would also help the fact that it wasn't a contract cause I could just convince her to keep the relationship a secret, while making her believe I liked her.

But the problem was I had only been rude to her, ever since I had encountered her, I needed to do things to make her like me enough to be in a relationship with me and also make the relationship look very real to her, as well as the outside world if I wanted to get my plans in motion.

I tapped my fingers against the table, as I thought of the perfect way to put my plans in motion.
