028 Woken Beast

When Raven woke up again, the room was empty.

The people were all gone, as well as the ropes on his body.

Knight was gone, too.

A lot seemed to have happened before he drifted off in sweat, but they were all a blur now. The only thing stuck was Knight's word--

"This is the price for stealing your heart."

It took a moment for Raven to shake off the sweet, delicious dream about the black tulip when he suddenly remembered -- Knight took his blood! He jumped out of bed and dashed out of the room. This time there was no guards outside his room, but also no trace of Knight.

"Yo, rise n' shine, huh?" Simon greeted Raven with a bucket of water on his shoulder.

"Where is Knight?! What happened to him!" Raven asked in haste.

"We ate him." Simon grinned in a weird sense of humor, and burst into laughter at Raven's confused face, "Well, we are not supposed to tell you. Alpha's order."

But his hand was pointing right at the woods behind the room Raven slept in.

"Thanks!" Raven dashed in
