The sheer absurdity of the thought made Caleb spring to his feet, his expression turning grave.

He was the man Ariana had loved most in her entire life. For all these years, she had practically handed him her whole heart. There was no way she would betray him.

She couldn't even bear the thought of hurting him.

Even if she had ever entertained the idea of seeing another man, at most it would have been to provoke him, to make him jealous—nothing more.

He set the diamond ring aside and reached for a photo frame tucked away in the corner—
