Chapter 15: Change

“I won’t apologize.” Raine spoke. His voice was cold as he looked at Raeyan. His face is devoid of any emotions like his voice. Indeed, it wasn’t Raeyan’s fault so he shouldn’t accuse Raeyan of what happened to their mother.

But, even if it wasn’t Raeyan’s fault… even if their parents can’t be blamed for this thing to happen to them, who will be held accountable for what his mother had gone through? The princess and her cronies… oh, her guardians? Then, how can he go to the other world and he will deal with them! Tell him and he will face them himself!

Raine’s fists on his sides clenched in anger and his chest heaved up and down as he tried to suppress his emotions when he recalled his mother’s last moments in life. Even if his mother passed peacefully, that scene of her closing her eyes and the tranquil expression on her face would forever be etched in his mind. Thus, he can’t let go… he can’t forget. And he can’t forgive them who caused her to suffer like this!
