“What are you doing here?”. I went straight to the point and asked him, with the tone of my voice sounding rude.

I don't know if anyone can understand me right now or the roaring and scattered emotions in my heart, but I can not take it anymore. That was why I was irritated by even the slightest offense.

“Please, leave”. I added, not giving him a chance to say whatever that brought him to Aunt Becky's house again.

After coldly saying that to him, both of us ended up in a pause, staring at each other's faces without moving a single muscle. Only our eyes were doing all the necessary movements.

“Who hurt you?”. He asked me and my brows furrowed because his question came out of nowhere.

I never expected these words to be the next words that came out of his mouth.

“What?”. I asked him, surprised.

“Who hurt you?”. He repeated his question, before he pointed a finger right at my face, “I can see it in your eyes. Who hurt you?”.

I stood there confused. What was going on? Wasn't he sup

When I went into the motel room, Stefan and Philip followed me inside. They didn't even allow me to go into the bathroom, and they demanded that I give them the 200 thousand dollars that I had promised to give them. But what time did I promise to give them 200 thousand dollars? Wasn't it Philip who forced my hands? I sent the money to them, and sent Stefan additional money because he was the one who paid for the motel room. Seeing the proud look on their faces after receiving the money, I rolled my eyes at them. Then, Stefan offered to buy me some clothes, and he left the room before I could say anything to him. I was surprised. He was stingy. The same as Philip. So it was rare to hear him or to see him getting something for me. Back to the present. I had finished bathing, and had worn the dress that Stefan bought for me. It was a long combined color dress. Pink and white. The dress did not have much design on it, but it had pink lace at the bottom, and bro

Valentina's pov, I sighed in relief as I stared at my reflection in the bathroom's wall mirror. After taking my bath, my body felt refreshed, and my mood became much better than before. Earlier, after Felix's body was reduced to ashes, Philip left the remaining job for Stefan to do. So, Stefan packed the ashes inside a black plastic bag that he happened to find lying on the ground. In the process of finding a more suitable place to dispose of the ashes, Stefan discovered that there was a cliff nearby, so he went ahead and scattered the ashes down the cliff. I was there, and I saw how the ashes fell from the high cliff, down to the ground, like snow. 'You deserve death, Felix. That's why I don't feel sorry for you. My only regret is that you made me become a murderer'. I thought to myself as I glared at his ashes as they rained to the ground. With Felix's remains properly disposed of, I asked help from Stefan and Philip. I told them to help get water and new clot

I stopped laughing because my hands were shaking non stop. My heart kept on pounding like it wanted to come out of my chest. I could not stop it. As my eyes met Felix's lifeless, bloody and almost unrecognized body, my entire body shook and I backed away. I was very scared. I could not believe what I had done. I had really killed someone. This was something I had never done before in my entire life. I rose up from the ground after feeling an insane amount of nauseousness within me. Without delay, I ran to a nearby corner and vomited. That was when I recalled that I was pregnant with Nathan's unborn child. ‘My baby'. I froze as I thought. Felix had pushed me to the ground earlier, so right now, I was afraid that something bad must have happened to my baby because of what he had done to me. I stared in between my legs several times, as I wanted to make sure that there was not a single drop of blood that stained my trouser. If blood has stained my trouser, then it might really b

4pm, The sky had become less blue, with the sun not as harsh as it was during the early afternoon. Rather, the wind was the one ruling over nature and the atmosphere. Such perfect weather. Sadly, such perfect weather meant for resting, was going to be wasted on taking Felix's life. My back was resting against a wall, with my right leg positioned in front of my left leg.“It's 4pm at the dot”. I muttered, as I stared at the screen of my cell phone. Stefan and Philip were already in place at the hill, while I was out of the town. I had spent quite some time with Felix and had an idea about the kind of person he was. Like I have said before, he is not to be underestimated. If he eventually arrives in the town and finds me there already waiting for him, he was going to suspect that something fishy was going on. That was why I left the town, in order to return only after he called me that he had arrived. I adjusted the pink face cap that I was wearing by making it cover my face a

Valentina's pov, “Yes. I have sent the money for the flight. So make sure to come to Blenka city today. Don't you dare come tomorrow”. I said, before I hung up the call. It was my mother. I had told her about my marriage ceremony with Nathan, a rich CEO. She did not even hesitate and told me that she was going to come, but only after I sent her money for the flight. As a mother, she did not ask me whether I loved Nathan, or whether Nathan was handsome and fit to become my husband. What she mostly cared about was that he was a rich CEO. What a typical mother I have. Some people were blessed with a cool mother, while as precious as I was, I was rewarded with a good for nothing mother. But looking back at things, my father was the cause of all this mess. If only that idiot had been a responsible father and never left my mother to suffer in taking care of the entire family, then I do not think she would have turned out to be this way. When I hit the jackpot, my mother decided to

Remembering the ice cream I had forgotten in my car, I went to retrieve it, before I went and entered the house and locked the door behind me. But I did not fail to hear the hurried footsteps of someone leaving the door side when I initially approached the entrance door of the house. There was only me and Joseph, so I knew that the culprit was him. He must have been spying on me and Michael, and only hurried away after he saw me coming into the house. When I arrived in the living room, I saw Joseph sitting innocently on the sofa, with his fingers hugging each other, and his hands resting properly on his laps. He looked up at me with a smile on his face. “No need to pretend, Joseph. I am not blind, nor am I deaf. I know what you did. And, of course, I am not going to get mad at you”. I told him, but after he sighed in relief, I went and stood in front of him and held his shoulder using my right hand, while holding the plastic bag of ice cream in my left hand. “But it was rude an
