GWENDOLY POV

I had been calling Bryn since yesterday.

No answer. No text. Nothing.

By the time the afternoon rolled around I was done waiting.

I drove to his apartment, parked, and took the elevator up with my stomach already tight. Part of me expected him to be hungover on the couch or still asleep. Part of me was just tired of always being the one who checked.

I used the spare key he never asked back for and pushed the door open.

The sound hit me first.

Low moaning. The creak of the couch. A

  • Hellbound To The Wrong Hockey Alpha    THE TRUTH BEHIND THE LIE

FROST WALKER POVThree damn days.Three days of silence. No texts. No door opening when I knocked. It was starting to eat through whatever control I had left.I sat behind my desk, staring at the same document for what felt like the hundredth time. The words refused to make sense.I finally dropped the papers onto the desk."Forget it."Marko looked up from across the room.I shoved the file toward him."Handle it."He studied my face before taking the papers. He didn't ask why. He knew better. My mind wasn't on the cannibis business deal.It was on Gwen.I couldn't understand what had happened. The last time I'd seen her at the hospital with Bryn after the fight, and when I'd left them, she hadn't seemed angry with me.So what the hell had changed?Something was wrong. And deep down, I already knew who was responsible.Bryn.She had been with that bastard alone at the hospital. My gut told me he'd said something designed to turn her against me.I leaned back in my chair and closed my

  • Hellbound To The Wrong Hockey Alpha    WHAT ELSE IS HE HIDING?

GWENDOLYN POVI dropped Bryn off and drove straight home. I didn’t go back to work. I couldn’t.Frost is an ex-convict.The words wouldn’t leave my head. I parked outside my building and just sat there, hands tight on the wheel, staring at nothing.I had always known he wasn’t clean-cut. I’d seen the way people stepped aside when he walked into a room. I’d watched his temper. I’d felt the darkness under the calm. But murder? Prison? That was different.I forced myself upstairs, kicked off my shoes, and called work with a short “I’m not coming in days.” Then I sank onto the couch and pressed the heels of my hands against my eyes. Why hadn’t he told me?Every strange thing suddenly lined up — The first time he picked me up at the airport. The disappearances, the private calls, the violence, the men who looked at him like they were afraid, the clubs that didn’t ask questions. Suddenly, things that had once seemed mysterious felt frightening. What else was he hiding?Velvet’s interrupted

  • Hellbound To The Wrong Hockey Alpha    MY BOYFRIEND IS AN EX-CONVICT

BRYN'S POVThe first thing I felt when I woke up was pain.A dull ache throbbed through my head, while another sharp wave traveled across my ribs the moment I tried to move.I groaned and slowly opened my eyes.White ceiling. White walls. The faint smell of antiseptic.I blinked several times before turning my head. Then I saw Gwen curled up in a chair beside my bed, her head resting against the backrest, fast asleep. For a moment, I simply stared at her.She had stayed.A small, careful hope flickered. Maybe she still cared enough.Maybe there was still a chance.I tried to sit up. Pain immediately shot through my ribs."Ah!"I dropped back against the pillow. The sound woke Gwen. Her eyes opened instantly."Bryn?"She straightened in the chair and leaned toward me."Are you okay?"I watched the worry spread across her face."Does anything hurt badly?"I considered telling her the truth. Then I saw how concerned she looked. An idea came to me.I winced dramatically. "My ribs..."Her

  • Hellbound To The Wrong Hockey Alpha    THE PUBLIC FIGHT

BRYN'S POVI slammed the door of my apartment behind me and stood there, breathing heavily.Gwen's refusal kept playing over and over in my head.No.She had said it so easily and firmly. As if eight years between us meant nothing.I dragged both hands through my hair.I knew what Frost was capable of. I knew the kind of man my stepbrother was.But I couldn't believe Gwen had actually fallen for him in just a couple of weeks. How could someone she had known for barely any time take my place so quickly?I clenched my fists.No.I wasn't going to sit back and watch it happen. My mother had told me to fight for what I wanted. And I would.I immediately pulled out my phone and called one of the family's contacts. He answered after several rings."I need you to find Frost. Now"There was a pause. "That's going to take some time.""I don't care."I ended the call.A few minutes later, my phone vibrated.I looked down at the message.Frost is currently in Kansas City.My blood went hot. That

  • Hellbound To The Wrong Hockey Alpha    I WANT HER BACK

BRYN’S POVFor the first time in my life, I hated myself for making that deal with Frost.Mom’s words wouldn’t leave my head.Eight years.Eight years of Gwen standing beside me.Eight years of the one person who never walked away. And I had handed her to my stepbrother just to get back on the ice.I stared at my phone, then called him.He answered on the third ring. “What?”Calm. Always calm.“We need to talk. About Gwen.”“No, we don’t.”“You made a deal with me.”“And you agreed to it.”“I want out.”A quiet laugh. “You can’t. You already got what you wanted.”My grip tightened. “You only helped me so you could go after her.”“I didn’t need the deal to want her,” Frost said. “I wanted her either way.”“She doesn’t belong to you.”“I never said she did. She’s my mate. That’s not the same thing.”“I don’t care about your werewolf shit. Stay away from her. She is mine”Silence. Then, flat: “No.”“I’m warning you.”“So am I.” His voice dropped. “Don’t threaten me over something you wil

  • Hellbound To The Wrong Hockey Alpha    SHE'S BRYN

VELVET WALKER POVI stared at the phone after the call dropped.“Gwen?”Nothing. Straight to voicemail. I tried twice more. Same result. My jaw tightened.“She hung up on me.”No.That wasn't right.I knew Gwen well enough to know she wouldn't deliberately cut me off in the middle of a conversation.Unless she had already decided to ignore me.I called again. Still nothing.Anger slowly replaced my frustration. She had made her choice. After everything I offered her, she was walking away because of Frost. That bastard? While does he always gets the good things?I lowered my phone.Foolish girl. She thought he was just another dangerous, good-looking man with a sharp mouth. She had no idea what he really was. What he had done. And if she refused to listen, then Bryn needed to know the truth.I called him.He answered after several rings. “Mom?”“Come over to Los Angeles this weekend. We need to talk about Gwen.”A pause. Then his tone changed. “What happened to her?”“She called me ton
