Opening her eyes, Seraphine found herself in a room. Creases appeared on her face when she noticed the grey walls which appeared almost dirty, and the bed under her felt too rough for her comfort. Scrunching up her nose, she sat up.

And that’s when, as she was about to lift her right hand, she was unable to move it much forward. At this, she noticed that it was shackled to the wall. Maybe because of how Seraphine had just woken up, she was processing the situation a little too slowly.

This was when her attention fell on the bar, making her feel that she was locked up inside a prison, and then, she realized her left leg was shackled as well. This entire situation placed her into a predicament.
