“Nikon is the best older brother ever,” I had been gushing over Nikon for some time. He was supposed to join us on the rooftop in a few minutes but got caught up with some work. We had come to the rooftop to drink with him.

“I wish someone else could be half as generous as him,” I commented, my eyes on Easton, who rolled his eyes.

“I’m preparing a gift for you, so don’t worry. Mine will be something you’ll really enjoy too,” he said. “What are you getting me?” he asked.

“A movie deal.”

I watched Easton’s eyes widen at the mention of a movie deal. “I recently befriended a guy whose father is a famous Hollywood director. I pitched you, and he liked you. So expect a deal anytime soon.”

I loved how excited Easton got about the idea.

I couldn’t think of a better gift for him.

But there was something else I wanted from him.
