I hug both Beau and Crimson tightly, an ache settling in my chest now that they are leaving.

"We will only be gone a few days at most, Princess. I'm sure they will fly by quickly." Beau tries to reassure me.

"I know, it's just hard because I feel like I just got you guys back." I try to explain.

"Listen, Kitten. Neither one of us really wants to leave you again this soon, but let's face it. Beau is best for getting everything arranged and I'm the best for making sure we have everything we need and to our standards." Crimson pipes in.

"I know, I know. Just be as quick as you can, okay?" I reply, making them both laugh.

She pulls me in for one last kiss before stepping away and letting Beau in to place a kiss against my forehead.
