Facing James

Mia's POV.

I almost doze off while waiting for James. It was over three hours now and still, there was no sign of him. He was still inside his house and he was taking forever to come out.

I just gave up, and I saw it will be better if I went back home, as I was beginning to get starving and tired. I am about to stand up when I hear a car engine. I quickly get up, and could see a car coming in my direction. It was James car. It was the same car he used to drop me at work during the rainy weather.

I stood at the corner where he could clearly see me. I see his open and close. My heart races faster when he stops his car and looks at me. In his car, there was a lady seated while chewing a bubble gum. She looked like ladies in the club who did not have manners, her makeup, and her clothes said it all.

“What are you doing here, you cheap woman.” James yells at me immediately he spots me. I shiver and remain, shrinking in one place. Clearly it was a bad Idea coming here. I think it is better
