After one month.

A month has passed already after that terrible thing happened to me. The memory was still fresh, as if it had happened just yesterday. But my work kept me going. I would usually go to work early and come back home at night. I always found Amelia asleep already. I never gave myself a chance to be idle because I would normally start thinking about James and I hated it.

One thing was wrong with my body. My periods had delayed for two weeks now, and I feared the worst was happening to me. I just cannot afford to be pregnant now. My life will be finished, and I will be forced to go back to my parent's house because no one will marry a pregnant lady.

Today I decided to go home early since I was feeling so tired. Before heading home, I passed through a pharmacy and I purchased a pregnancy test kit.
