What happened that night?

Katherina had never seen Harrison in such a state before. He was usually so composed and in control, but tonight he was a mess. She helped him through the front door of her house, supporting his weight as he struggled to stay upright. She wasn't sure what had happened, but she knew she had to help him.

Katherina asked Harrison where he lived in the taxi, but he couldn't seem to get his words out. He kept mumbling and his words were slurred and unsteady gait an indication that he had had too much to drink.

With great effort, Katherina managed to half-drag, half-carry Harrison into her bedroom. He was still mumbling incoherently, and she wondered if he was delirious. She finally got him onto the bed, and then, overcome with exhaustion, she collapsed next to him.

Katherina looked at Harrison, and was shocked to see that he was actually smiling. He looked completely out of it, his eyes glassy and unfocused. But there was no doubt about it - he was definitely smiling. Was he actually enjoying this? She felt a strange mix of confusion and annoyance, and she wanted to shake him to try to wake him up. But then she decided against it.

As Katherina lay there next to Harrison, she realized that she was feeling something more than confusion and annoyance. She felt a strange sense of connection to this man, despite the fact that she barely knew him. She found herself studying his features, his strong jaw and thick dark hair. He really was a fine man.

As she looked into Harrison's eyes, she noticed that his gaze was now fixed on her. They were locked in a strange moment of connection, even though he was still clearly inebriated. She knew that this was probably just the alcohol talking, but she couldn't deny that there was something magnetic about this man. She couldn't stop staring at him, and she felt herself getting lost in his gaze.

As he looked into her eyes, Harrison reached out and placed his hand on her cheek. His touch was soft, but firm. His hand was warm against her skin, and she could feel his thumb gently caressing her. She felt a jolt of electricity run through her body, and she couldn't look away from him. His eyes were filled with emotion, and she felt herself getting lost in them.

"Please, stay. I need you." Harrison said his voice quiet and soft.

As Katherina watched, Harrison's eyes began to flutter closed. His breathing slowed, and he drifted off to sleep. She sat there for a moment, not sure what to do. She felt a mixture of emotions - compassion, concern, and a little bit of fear.

It makes sense that Katherina wouldn't take Harrison's words too seriously, since he was drunk when he said them. But at the same time, she couldn't help but wonder if there was some truth to what he said. Perhaps he was just expressing something that he couldn't say when he was sober. Or maybe it was all just the alcohol talking. Either way, Katherina was left feeling a bit conflicted.

Katherina pulled off Harrison's shoes and socks, then covered him with a blanket. She went into the kitchen and made herself a simple meal. She wasn't in the mood for anything fancy, just something to fill her stomach and keep her going. She ate quickly.

As she finished her meal, Katherina's thoughts turned to her fiancee. How would he feel if he knew she had brought a man home? Would he be understanding, or would he be upset?

Katherina let the thought drift away, knowing that she had done nothing wrong. She knew in her heart that she wasn't being immoral by bringing Harrison to her apartment. They were just friends, and she wasn't doing anything inappropriate with him. She trusted herself and her own moral compass, and knew that what she was doing was not wrong.

The next morning, Katherina went in to check on Harrison. She quietly opened the door to the spare bedroom, where Harrison was still sleeping soundly. She didn't want to wake him, but she needed to make sure he was okay. She tiptoed into the room and stood over his bed, observing his sleeping form.

Her eyes fell on Harrison's phone, which was sitting on the nightstand next to the bed. She couldn't help but feel a twinge of curiosity, and she wondered if she should take a look at it. After all, she was just trying to make sure he was okay, and checking his phone might give her some insight into his state of mind. So, she reached out and took the phone in her hand, wondering what she might find.

Katherina's heart sank as she saw that the phone was locked, and she knew there was no way to get past the password. She considered trying to guess the password, but she knew that was futile.

Katherina held the phone up to Harrison's face, hoping that the facial recognition would recognize him and unlock the phone.

She froze as Harrison's hand suddenly shot out and grabbed her wrist. She looked at him in shock, and saw that his eyes were open. He looked at her with a mixture of confusion and curiosity, and she felt her heart race. Then, without warning, he pulled her down so that she was lying on top of him, her face inches from his. She could feel his breath on her skin, and she was suddenly very aware of how close they were.

Katherina's mind was racing, and she couldn't think of what to say. She had never been in such a situation before, and she felt completely out of her depth. She tried to speak, but all that came out was a strangled, "Umm..."

Harrison looked at her with amusement, and then his lips curled into a smile.

"Are you okay?" he asked, his voice low and gentle.

"I... I..." Katherina stammered, unable to form a coherent thought.

Harrison looked at Katherina with a mixture of curiosity and amusement. He couldn't figure out why she was acting so strange, but he decided to try and get to the bottom of it. In a teasing tone, he said,

"You're being very mysterious, Katherina. Spill the beans - what's going on?"

He waited for her to respond, but she just looked at him with wide eyes, as if she was a deer caught in the headlights.

Katherina's heart was pounding so hard that she thought it might burst out of her chest. She could feel Harrison's breath on her face, and she was acutely aware of every inch of his body that was pressed against hers. She could feel the warmth of his skin, and she was filled with a strange mixture of fear and exhilaration. What was happening to her?

Harrison looked into Katherina's eyes and said,

"We're married, you know. There's no need to be shy or embarrassed around me. You can tell me anything, and I'll always be there for you"

Katherina's mind was reeling. She couldn't believe that Harrison remembered their conversation from the night before. She had assumed that his memories were distorted by the alcohol he had consumed, but it seemed that he remembered everything. She didn't know what to say or do. How could she explain her behavior? She felt like she was caught in a web of lies, and she didn't know how to escape.

Harrison's voice was calm and steady as he asked, "When did we get married? I know it happened, but I can't remember the details. Can you tell me what happened?"

Katherina's heart was pounding in her chest, and she felt like she was going to pass out. She didn't know what to say. Should she lie and try to cover up the truth, or should she come clean and tell him the whole story?

As Katherina looked into Harrison's eyes, she could see that something was terribly wrong. He didn't just have a gap in his memory - he had completely forgotten everything. His entire life's memory was gone in just one night.

Katherina's mind was racing, trying to make sense of what had happened. How could Harrison have lost his memory so suddenly? Was it possible that something traumatic had happened, or was there a medical explanation? She tried to think back to the previous night, but everything was a blur. She couldn't remember anything that might have caused such a sudden loss of memory.

She tried to focus on the previous night, but her thoughts kept getting jumbled. Nothing was making sense. She had so many questions, but no answers. The one question that kept coming back to her was, "How?" How could Harrison have lost his memory so quickly? There had to be an explanation, but she couldn't think of one. She was beginning to feel overwhelmed and confused."
