"He's young and strong. Skipping one meal won't starve him," Fiona said, waving her hand dismissively, planning to invite Grant for lunch later.

But her mother shot her a glare. "Go now."

"I...," she was at a loss for words and reluctantly turned to Grant. "All right, let's go. I'll take you downstairs to eat."

“Oh, no need, ma'am. I have some work to handle at the office. I'll be leaving now," he replied politely.

"Is that so?"

"Yes, I'll come back to see you later." He said goodbye to Margare
