Earlier The Next Morning...
"You know Cedes, I wouldn't wanna do life with anyone else," Alex told her honestly.
She sighed knowing she felt the same way. Within the space of two years, they had grown very close and deep down she loved him for protecting her.
"Me too Alex, you're the best friend I never wanted, but the big brother I could only have wished for." She said feeling her heart melt and explode with love all at once.
They walked through the carpark, absentmindedly chatting away, heading towards the junkyard where their temporary home remained. A patrol car came screeching through the carpark, the doors flew open and two officers exited raising their firearms.

As she watches him closing his eyes and leaning towards her. She yelps, with wide eyes, sidestepping him, narrowly escaping his intentions of kissing her. She raises a hand to her mouth, covering her smile as she watches him lose his balance; stumbling forward and face plants into the wall. He straightens, running his fingers through his hair, clearing his throat and looks at her with a frown marring his handsome face. "I mean what I said Sedar, keep your lips to yourself." She states clearly, subtly removing the smirk from her face. He lets out a low growl then smirks at her amusingly. It's like a game of cat and mouse between them. They were used to their disruptive display of communication between them and it never got too monotonous to watch. Three weeks later... Mercedes entered Sedar's office carrying a silver tray with two freshly brewed teas, which she placed on top of his desk while she waited for him to return from his meeting. She stood by the window, looking out at the cityscape. She's been in Istanbul for three weeks and has already fallen in love with the people and their customs. She hears the door open and, thinking it's Sedar, turns around to greet him with a smile. For the past week, she has enjoyed his company, working alongside him and watching him interact with his employees as if they were equals, earning her respect. Her smile fades as she realises Sedar has not entered the room. She exhales with a sigh, summoning all the patience she can muster from her core. He stood there, running his hands through his hair and leaning against the edge of his desk. He is well aware that Zeynep will go to any lengths to obtain the answers she craves. They may find themselves in serious trouble if she starts spreading the word that they did not marry out of love. He sighed and rubbed his chin with his hand as he looked at his wife. She leant forward in her seat, her gaze fixed on his annes ring, which she had placed on the coffee table. The ring he placed on her finger was a symbol of family pride for him. He carried the ring with him everywhere he went. Despite his efforts to convince himself that he had given it to her out of convenience and to formalise their marriage. Ridding her the chance of fleeing him. He still couldn't shake the feeling that something higher compelled him to do it, driving his primal need to claim her and place the ring on her finger that day. "Can you tell me what you're doing?" He interrogated her with gritted teeth. She shook her head and laughed at him, patting her nose with the back of her hand and gazing into his eyes, gauging his reaction. "Do you believe I murdered him, as in murdered him?" She regarded him as if he were insane. "Evet, (yes) that is exactly what you said." He gave her a scowl. "That is not what I meant," she exhaled loudly. "What were you referring to then?" "I meant he died as a result of me, not as a result of what I did." She laughed at his superstition. "Do I appear to be someone capable of murder?" She tapped her foot angrily against the carpet. "My apologies, Hayir." (No) He smirked

Later that evening... Sedar sat behind his desk, signing contracts and poring over the blueprints for another project he hoped to build following the completion of the complex. He frowned as he lost concentration due to the commotion outside his office. He stood and yanked open his door, watching as a group of his employees waited outside his wife's office; for her to shut down her computer and grab her bag. She raised her eyes to him for a brief moment before quickly averting her gaze when she noticed his hardened expression. He exhaled, folding his arms and leaning against the doorjamb. Her disobedience compelled him with the fascination to spank her bottom till it turned a lovely shade of crimson. When naughty wives wilfully disregard their husband's wishes, they deserve to be disciplined. And, she was a perfect illustration of his testimony.
