LOGIN“Hit me again,” he said. “It makes me hard.” I stared at him, breath shaking. “You’re sick.” “And you’re dripping for it.” His voice dropped. “Don’t look at me like that. I know that face. I saw it in the hallway when I had my hand on your throat. You get wet when I’m cruel to you. That’s your sickness, little sister. Not mine.” “Don’t call me that.” “Why? It bothers you?” He leaned closer. The cigarette glowed. “Or does it make your cunt clench?” “Fuck you.” “That’s the idea.” I hate my stepbrother. I hate the way he talks to me. The way he looks at me. The way his hand felt around my throat the first time he called me a whore. He kisses me like a punishment and waits to see if I will fight. I do. I slap him. I tell him I am leaving. I tell him I am not his. But some dark, shameful part of me kisses him back. That is the part I hate most. Because the worst thing about Lorenzo is not that he is a monster. It is that the monster wants me. And the longer I stay in his house, the harder it becomes to pretend I do not want the ruin he is offering.

My stepbrother had his hand around my throat the first time he called me a whore to my face.
Not hard enough to bruise. Just hard enough that I felt the exact shape of every finger, the heat of his palm, the controlled strength that could have crushed my windpipe if he wanted to.
His eyes dropped to my bare thighs, then climbed slowly back to my face with open, deliberate disgust.
“Like mother, like daughter,” he said, voice low and cold. “I can smell it on you.”
My mother had spent twenty years selling her body so we could survive. Now she wore a diamond the size of a grape and slept in a bed bigger than our old apartment, and her daughter still carried the shame.
I should have shoved him off.
I should have screamed.
Instead I stood there with his hand on my throat and my pulse hammering against his thumb, and the worst part—the part that made my stomach twist with something that wasn’t fear—was how wet I already was. I could feel the dampness starting between my legs, shameful and immediate.
I shoved at his chest hard. “Take your hand off me.”
His mouth curved into something cruel. He didn’t move.
“Or what? You’ll cry to my father? Tell him his new stepdaughter walks around my house half-naked, legs out, hoping to find someone to pay for a taste of your pussy?”
The words should have cut. They did.
But underneath the sting was a darker heat, the same heat that had kept me awake every night since I moved in, listening for his footsteps in the hall.
I hated that my body answered him.
I hated that the pressure of his hand made my thighs press together.
I hated that when he looked at me like that—like I was already beneath him and not worth the effort—I still felt chosen instead of degraded.
I shoved again, harder this time. “I said get your fucking hand off me.”
He leaned in until his mouth was almost against my ear. The gold chain at his throat brushed my collarbone. He smelled like smoke and gun oil and money. Expensive. Dangerous.
“You think you belong here?” he murmured, voice dripping with contempt. “You walk around this house like you’re something special. You’re not. You’re the free sample that came with the whore my father decided to keep.”
“Don’t talk about my mother like that.” My voice came out sharper than I expected. “You don’t know a damn thing about her.”
“I’ll talk about whatever the fuck I want.” His fingers flexed on my throat, not tighter, just enough to remind me who held the power and how little he cared if it hurt. “This is my house. You’re nothing but a reminder of how low my father sank. You’re nothing special. Just a convenient hole just like your mother.”
I turned my head so our mouths nearly touched. I could feel his breath. My pulse was racing, but I didn’t look away.
“Then why are you still touching me? If I’m so disgusting, why is your hand on my throat and your cock hard against my hip?”
Something ugly and satisfied flickered across his face. His grip on my throat stayed firm while his other hand came up and traced the edge of my shorts, not quite sliding under, just pressing hard enough against the soft skin of my hip that I felt the threat of it.
His fingers were warm. Rough. He dragged the pad of his thumb along the seam of the fabric, right where the shorts rode high on my thigh, and I felt my breath catch.
I tried to twist away. He didn’t let me.
“Because I can,” he said, soft and vicious. “Because you’re in my hallway, half-dressed, and I decide what happens in this house. Because it amuses me to see how wet you get when I treat you exactly like what you are.” He pressed a little harder, enough that the tip of his finger slipped just under the edge of the shorts, not far, just enough to feel how warm my skin was.
“And because for some reason I can’t stop looking at the one thing in this place that disgusts me the most.”
The confession landed harder than the insult. My breath stuttered. His eyes dropped to my mouth, then lower, lingering on the stretch of bare skin between my top and the waistband of my shorts with pure, open disdain. The air between us felt thick, charged, like the second before a gun goes off.
I could feel how hard he was against my hip. Thick. Heavy. He made no effort to hide it. He wanted me to know. He wanted me to feel it.
“You’re soaking these little shorts, aren’t you?” he said, almost conversational. “I can feel the heat coming off you. Does it make you wet when I call you a whore and degrade you, or is it the hand on your throat? Or maybe both. Maybe you just like being treated like the trash you are.”
I glared up at him, jaw tight. “You’re a bastard.”
He laughed under his breath. “You didn’t answer my question.”
“Fuck you.”
He laughed again, quiet and mean. “Not yet. But keep walking around like this and maybe I’ll change my mind. Maybe I’ll bend you over the nearest surface and make use of any of your holes.”
His finger traced higher, still under the edge of the shorts, still not quite where I needed it. “Would you fight me? Or would you spread your legs and take it like the little whore you are?”
Riella’s POVI got back to the mansion and went straight to my room. I shut the door and sat on the edge of the bed for a long time, staring at the floor. The funeral dirt was still on my shoes. The smell of roses and wet earth still clung to my dress. I pulled the old bag from under the bed and set it on the covers.Tomorrow. First thing.I would take what little I had and go. There was nothing for me in this house. No mother. No safety. Only Lorenzo and the way he looked at me like I was something he already owned.Hours later, when the mansion had gone quiet, I couldn’t sit still anymore. I found one of the maids in the hall. She looked at me with a scowl, like I had no right to ask her anything.“Where is Lorenzo?”“Don Lorenzo is in his bedroom,” she said, voice flat. Then she walked off without waiting to see if I needed anything else.Even the maids looked down on me.I walked to his door and knocked.“Come in.”His voice was rough. Tired. Mean.I pushed the door open and step
Riella’s POVI buried my mother next to the man who got her killed. The ropes creaked as Don Aurelio’s coffin sank into the ground, inch by inch, until the dark hole swallowed it. Right beside his grave, my mum’s box was already down there. Lid closed. Face gone. Hands gone. Just wood and earth and a pain in my chest that felt like someone had reached in and squeezed. They were being buried on the grounds of his mansion. Behind the big house. Near the rose garden she used to walk through in the mornings, pretending this life was safe. The preacher talked about rest and God and peace.None of it felt true.Flashes of that day kept hitting me while he spoke. The man bursting into my room. The smear on his collar that looked like blood. His pale face. The way he wouldn’t look at me when I asked if she was alive. Then the hospital. The bright lights. The smell of disinfectant. The doctor’s mouth moving. They didn’t make it.I’m sorry.I had collapsed on the cold floor. The sound I made di
Rielle’s POVI found my voice somehow. It came out cracked and shaking. “You’re a monster.”He laughed under his breath. Soft. Mean.“I’m your worst fucking nightmare, baby. And you still can’t look away.”His hips snapped forward harder. The wet sounds turned messy. My mother’s gagging got louder. He held her tight against him, cock buried deep, and I watched his stomach tighten. Watched the way his jaw clenched. Watched the exact second he came.He groaned low and rough and emptied himself down her throat. Thick. Steady. He didn’t pull back. He kept her there, forcing her to take every pulse of it, eyes still locked on mine the whole time like he wanted me to see it. Like he wanted me to know exactly what he was giving her—and how little she meant while he did it.Only when he was finished did he ease out. A thick string of spit and cum connected the head of his cock to her lips for a second before it broke. My mother coughed hard, gasping, chin shiny and wet. He finally let go of h
Rielle’s POVI shoved at his chest one more time, hard enough that he actually had to shift his weight. “You’re disgusting. Get off me.”A door opened downstairs. Voices. Laughter. Don Aurelio calling for Lorenzo. He released me like I was dirty. Stepped back. His gaze dragged over my bare legs one last time with cold, deliberate contempt, as if the last minute had never happened and I was already forgotten. The front of his trousers was still strained. He didn’t bother adjusting himself.“Cover yourself up,” he said, voice flat and final. “No one in this house needs to see the merchandise. And stay the fuck out of my way.”He walked past me without waiting for an answer. I stayed frozen until the study door closed and the sound of male voices sealed itself behind thick wood. My throat still felt the shape of his hand. My pulse still throbbed between my legs. The place where his finger had pressed under my shorts burned like a brand.I went to my room, locked the door, and pressed my
