Nyla’s POV

I sat at the edge of Luca’s bed; doctors had already come in to stabilize him, and he was now sleeping peacefully. The rashes from the reaction were starting to disappear as well.

I took a deep breath. Mr. Valenti had come in to observe him earlier and also to assure me that he would be fine.

He was allergic to walnuts?

My son also had a deadly allergy to walnuts; merely perceiving them alone could harm him, much less taking them into his system.

What are the odds…?

No, it can't be, but what if….

I turned to look at his face, and a strange shiver ran down my spine. Why does he suddenly have the same facial features as my son Alex?
