Tyson's POV

I stared blankly at Zina, and I wondered if she had lost her mind, but her expression didn't falter a bit, so I could only think she was telling the truth.

“I know what I'm saying is crazy, but I really need your help.” She explained that her friend's daughter was sick, and she needed a bone marrow transplant, and even though her explanation was off, I volunteered to follow her to get tested.

What could go wrong with just a test? I thought.

I followed her to the hospital, and I was surprised when she stopped in front of a hospital room.

“Why are you waiting outside? Are you just going in?” I asked, but I stopped bugging her when I looked into that room through the door glass.

“Why does that young girl..” I trailed off while I completed the sentence in my head, ‘looked like me.’

I looked at the frail-looking girl on the hospital bed, and the more I looked at her, the more the resemblance glared back at me.
