Chapter Sixteen

"Oh well, what am I even saying? I think what I need urgently now is a mobile landline"

"A mobile landline?" Michael was surprised. "Yes, the cell phone is costing me so much, a mobile landline will be cheaper, I think that is what I need now"

"You don't need to get that from France, you can have it here" Michael told her. "I know, buy I don't have the money" she pouted. Michael smiled, " It's sold in the office, on the ground floor, you can go there and tell any of the representative the phone you want, he or she should charge it to my account"

Vera was very happy, " oh thank you so much, this is almost unbelievable, if someone had told me I would get the phone so soon, I would have said it was a big joke, can I go there now?"

"Sure" Michael said. She got up and took her bag, " I will go right away, thanks, I will be back soon". She told him and left his office.

Michael sat back on his chair, and with an amused look on his face, he took his pen and began to beat a rhythm on his desk.
