Ozias' Point of View

Sex filled the room before us. Ciaran had gotten restless as the minutes ticked away with no sign of Maverick and Alvara. We all knew that they had gotten caught up in something but the Alpha's nerves were fried. Savanah's death had left a lingering fear within him. If Alvara was out of sight for just a second too long, he might implode.

"Do you want me to find them?" I asked, lifting myself from my seat. Ciaran barely glanced at me. Clearing my throat, I tried again. "Do you want me to go see where they might be hiding?"
