LOGINI died and woke up as Sylvia Kensington, the doomed villainess of a trashy werewolf novel. My fate? Execution by the exiled true Alpha in exactly six months. Refusing to play the pathetic victim, I publicly rejected my cheating fiancé, demanded my dowry back, and went to the underground fighting pits. My plan was simple: buy the feral exiled heir, fund his revenge, and secure a blood oath for my survival. But when our blood mixed, the contract sparked gold. We weren't just business partners. I accidentally bound my soul to the most dangerous monster in the kingdom.

"You are a disgrace to this pack, Sylvia!"
The booming voice sent a sharp pain straight through my skull. I blinked, and the ringing in my ears faded into the murmur of a massive crowd. A thick smell of wet fur, damp earth, and cheap vanilla perfume assaulted my nose. I stood on a raised wooden platform. Hundreds of wolves stared up at me. Their eyes held nothing but disgust.
I forced my vision to focus. A tall, handsome man glared down at me. His jaw clenched in anger. Beside him stood a trembling girl with wide, tearful eyes. She clung to his arm like a lifeline.
Cassian. The Alpha of the Mercer pack.
And the weeping girl was Clara.
A sudden wave of foreign memories crashed into my brain. The realization hit me like a physical blow. I knew exactly where I was. I knew who I was. I had transmigrated into the body of Sylvia Kensington. She was the pathetic, cannon fodder villainess of a trashy w******l I read last week. And according to the plot, Sylvia would die a brutal death in exactly six months.
"Did you hear me?" Cassian shouted. His voice echoed across the quiet pack grounds. "I will never make a vicious, cold-hearted woman like you my Luna."
The crowd gasped. They waited for me to break down. They expected me to fall to my knees and beg for his forgiveness. The original Sylvia did exactly that, and it cemented her role as a laughingstock for the rest of the book. She spent chapters crawling after him, begging him to love her.
"Cassian, please," Clara whimpered. She pressed her face into his shoulder. "Maybe she didn't mean to lock me in the cellar. Don't be too harsh on her."
"She is evil, Clara," Cassian declared. He puffed out his chest, playing the protective hero. "She bullied you just because the Moon Goddess chose you for me. I won't tolerate her jealousy any longer. She needs to learn her place."
"I just wanted us all to get along," Clara cried softly. She hid her face against his chest.
"You are too good for her," Cassian whispered to Clara. He kissed the top of her head. Then he turned his glaring eyes back to me. "I, Cassian Mercer, Alpha of the Mercer Pack, hereby reject you, Sylvia Kensington, as my fated mate and future Luna!"
The words hung in the air.
The mate bond snapped. A sharp, burning ache struck my chest. It felt like a hot knife twisting between my ribs, but I bit my tongue and forced myself to stand tall. I wouldn't flinch. I wouldn't give them the satisfaction. I felt the expectant eyes of the pack burning into my skin. The murmurs grew louder.
"She is going to cry."
"The Alpha finally threw her out."
"Serves the spoiled brat right. She thought her money could buy him."
They wanted tears. They wanted a show. They wanted to see the proud daughter of the Kensington family reduced to nothing.
Instead, I felt a massive wave of relief.
Being tied to Cassian was a literal death sentence. The true Alpha was coming back to slaughter him in six months. I needed to get as far away from this sinking ship as possible. I smoothed the front of my silk dress and looked Cassian dead in the eye.
"I accept your rejection, Alpha Cassian," I said. My voice rang out loud and clear, startling the crowd. "I, Sylvia Kensington, accept your rejection."
The murmurs stopped instantly. Cassian frowned. His smug expression faltered. He clearly didn't expect me to agree so easily. He expected me to cry and cling to his legs.
"Good," he spat, recovering his arrogance quickly. "Pack your bags and leave the main house by tonight. I am moving Clara into the Luna suite."
"That works perfectly for me," I replied. I took a step forward. "Since our engagement is officially void, the Kensington family's financial backing of your pack is also void."
The entire courtyard went dead silent. You could hear a pin drop.
"What are you talking about?" Cassian asked. His voice lost its booming confidence.
"I am talking about the three million dollars my family invested in your packhouse renovations," I stated calmly. "That money was a dowry. It was conditional on our marriage."
"You gave that money to the pack," Cassian argued. His hands curled into fists at his sides. "It is pack funds now. You cannot just take it back because your feelings are hurt. The elders already allocated those funds."
"My feelings aren't hurt," I corrected him. I kept my tone flat and even. "This is just business. It was an investment in my future role as Luna. The contract my father signed was very clear. Since you just broke the bond in front of hundreds of witnesses, I demand the immediate return of my three million dollars. Effective right now."
"You cannot do that!" Clara gasped. She stepped out from behind Cassian, her eyes wide with panic. "The pack needs that money for the winter supplies. You will starve the elders! You will hurt the pups!"
"Then the Alpha should have thought about the winter supplies before he humiliated his primary investor," I told her. I didn't raise my voice, but the words carried a sharp sting.
Cassian's face turned a violent shade of red. The ugly mask of shock and rage twisted his handsome features. He stepped away from Clara and stomped toward me.
"You dare threaten me in front of my pack?" Cassian growled.
"I am not threatening you," I answered. "I am calling in a debt. I want my money back."
He released his Alpha tone. A heavy, suffocating pressure slammed into my shoulders. It felt like someone dropped a boulder on my back. My legs shook under the sheer weight of his aura. My wolf whimpered inside me, urging me to submit to his dominance. The pack members closest to the platform dropped to their knees, unable to handle his anger.
I refused. I bit the inside of my cheek until I tasted copper. I would not bow to a dead man walking. I locked my knees and kept my chin high. I stared right into his furious eyes.
"Have the funds transferred by tomorrow morning," I told him, ignoring the blood in my mouth.
I didn't wait for his response. I turned my back on the Alpha and his new Omega. I walked toward the wooden steps leading off the platform.
Before my foot could touch the first step, a large hand clamped around my wrist. The grip was brutal and bruising. He yanked me backward.
"You are making a mistake," Cassian warned.
Sylvia's POVA loud crash shattered the quiet night. The heavy polished oak doors of the Kensington estate flew wide open and slammed hard against the stone walls.I stood in the center of the grand foyer. My palm still throbbed with a hot ache from the magical blood oath. Julian stood right behind me. He was silent and massive. His large frame was hidden beneath a thick dark cloak.Cassian marched through the doorway. Four elite pack guards followed closely behind him. They tracked wet mud all over my clean marble floors. Clara peeked out from behind his broad shoulders. She looked nervously at the expensive crystal chandeliers and the velvet curtains."Your little temper tantrum is over, Sylvia," Cassian announced. An ugly arrogant smile stretched across his handsome face."Get out of my house," I said. My voice stayed flat and calm.Cassian chuckled. He stepped further into the room. He waved a crumpled piece of white paper in the air."This isn't your house anymore," he told me. "
Sylvia's POV"Give me one reason."The sharp point of his Lycan claw pressed directly into the beating pulse of my neck. I was pinned flat against the cold iron bars of the cage. Julian's broad chest heaved against mine. He radiated an intense, suffocating heat. His claws dug deeper into my skin. A single warm drop of my blood rolled down my neck.I forced my breathing to stay steady. Panic would get me killed right now."I know who you really are," I whispered. I stared directly into his wild golden eyes. "Julian Sinclair. The true Alpha."Shock flashed in his eyes for a split second. Then pure hatred swallowed it up. He bared his fangs again, pressing his heavy body closer to mine."Why is a rich Kensington brat down in the dirt with a stray?" he asked. His voice dripped with venom. "Your family helped steal my throne. Give me one good reason not to rip your head off right now.""I want Cassian destroyed just as much as you do," I spoke quickly. I ignored the stinging pain in my nec
Sylvia's POV"Kill him! Tear his throat out!" a man beside me screamed, spitting beer onto the dirty floor. The deafening roar of the bloodthirsty crowd shook the walls of the underground arena. A loud, sickening crunch of breaking bones echoed over the shouting. I stepped further inside the dark, suffocating room. The heavy smell of sweat, cheap alcohol, and copper hit my nose. I choked on the foul air, but I forced my feet to keep moving."Fifty bucks on the big guy!" someone yelled from the balcony."He won't last another minute!" another voice laughed. "Look at the stray bleed!"I pushed through the dense crowd of shouting rogues and gamblers. They shoved my shoulders, cursing at me, but I kept my eyes fixed forward. In the exact center of the room sat a massive iron cage. Inside it, two men fought to the death.I spotted him immediately.Julian Sinclair. He looked nothing like the polished true heir from the book's prologue. Sylvia's POV"Let go of me." I yanked my arm out of his tight grip. The cold night wind hit my face, biting into my skin and cooling the anger in my chest. I stared at the hand he just grabbed. My skin turned red from his brutal strength."You are making a huge mistake, Sylvia," Cassian warned. He stepped off the wooden platform, trying to tower over me. "You don't just walk away from me.""I just did," I replied. I held my ground and stared right back at him. "And I expect my three million dollars in the Kensington bank account by sunrise. Don't make me send debt collectors to your front door.""You can't do this!" Clara shouted. She ran down the wooden steps and grabbed Cassian's arm. Her face was pale, and tears streamed down her cheeks. "Cassian, tell her she can't do this. The pack needs those funds for the winter! The pups will freeze!""Tell her yourself, Clara," I said. "Since you want to be the Luna so badly, you can figure out how to pay for the winter supplies. A Luna provi
