Alvara's Point of View

That was twice in two days that I had been cornered by one of them. Been turned on by one of them. My head told me I was every bad word in the book. My heart told me I was on to something, whilst the wetness between my legs simply urged me forward.

As promised, we had had breakfast and a small stroll in the park. Not more, not less. Eugene would have a fit if we had stayed together longer, but a part of me wanted to scoff at him and throw the middle finger. There was a difference between truly submitting to someone and pretending that you did. Eugene had never earned my submission, but I would gladly bow before Ciaran and Maverick. Even Ozias. Somehow they had noticed me in a way few others had. Very few. Blessing and curse, to know that someone saw the innermost workings of your mind.

why does he keep her? if he doesn't have sex with her, doesn't soend time with her? why is she there? he dies nothing with his 'possession'.
