Emily's POV

“Elaine… Elaine is dead?” Caleb stammered, his eyes wide with shock. I clenched my fists, the corner of my lips pulling downwards. Why was he shocked and concerned, he hated Elaine so why did he care? Elaine, she had always taken everything away from me! Caleb was supposed to be mine from the beginning, but she took my place as his wife. I came second!
