Elaine's POV

“Who is he?!” Zade asked, his voice was as cold as ice. Neither of us expected that someone else would be behind the both of them, not at all. I never got that information while I was investigating, this was going towards another direction.

“I… I don't know who he is. What I know is that he contacted me through someone else, and after giving me this order, he never contacted me again and only said I should do so after the company has been able to sell the product successfully. I've never seen the real Jackal before.” Andrew explained while Louis was still crying on the ground, trembling.

“He must have known that you'd be caught…” I said slowly, “That's why he never messaged you again. He was toying with Zade's trying to tell him that this was something he could clearly do under his nose. Zade, the person could be in this company, in this very room, smiling at what is going on here.” I finished, looking at each and every one of the board members. None of them were smil
