James was flipping through the programs on tv as he waited for Laura to finish her shower and join him in bed. It took him a while to find something to watch and finally settled for an old movie to serve as background noise.

At this time, Laura got out of the bathroom with a bathroom and crawled onto the bed and only stopped once she was next to him. James draped an arm over her shoulder so that he could hold her better.

“I didn’t know you could be impulsive,” Laura said as she lifted her hands to braid her hair.

“I didn’t know it either. But since you wanted to enjoy the tropics and we are both on vacation, then why not do it?” James asked her as he watched with rapt attention how her fingers nimbly braided the long locks of hair.

“We should sleep, it’s almost 4 am,” Laura said as she took off the bathrobe she was wearing and slipped under the sheets. James turned off the tv and joined her under the covers.
