Chapter Thirty One

Ethan's POV

We drove back to my apartment in silence, neither of us wanting to talk. I'm guessing Lin's lack of words were probably as a result of nervousness while mine…mine was out of annoyance.

I frown my face and slowly turn my head to face the window and watched as the building morphed in to different sizes on our journey.

I can't believe that Nicole attacked Lin like that! How dare she even raise a finger to her much more hurt her so severely? What even annoys me the most is the fact that I had just let it happen. I had stood there and watched her hurt the woman who I love the most.

I had done nothing!

The scowl on my face grows bigger with each passing second the more I think of it.

A slight sniffle draws my attention back to reality and I turn my head back to look at Lindsey.

I guess the fight must have really tired her out because she's currently fast asleep. She is huddled in the corner of the car and her head is leaned against the window. H
