Chapter 16

-MILA-

The blood drained from my face at the sound of the shattering glass.

I slowly walked toward the kitchen, peering around the door I froze in terror.

A large Lycan stood in the middle of the room, at least double my size in height.

I was frozen to my spot in fear, and then he turned to me snarling.

Its sharp teeth bared in anger as spit dribbled from its mouth as if it was rabid.

"Oh, God." I turned running for the door, but the creature was faster, running on its hind legs, I was no match.

I felt its sharp claws as its hand grasped around the back of my neck.

I screamed out in a mix of pain and fear as he threw me across the room like I was a toy.

My body ached as I hit into the wall and fell to the floor.

I stared up at the monster as it loomed over me, snarling angrily down at me.

"What do you want?!" I screamed in terror.

His only response was to snarl and growl at me.

"Whatever I did to piss you off, I didn't mean it. Please don't kill me." I felt pathetic begging for my lif
