Chapter Six

Dakota POV

Tonya did not seem to care I was talking to Melanie on the phone at first, but then she seemed a little weird about it. I am not sure if she was serious or not when she said she was jealous. I left and went back to my room shortly after. She kissed me and told me she would see me soon. I wonder if she was mad. I did remember to get her phone number this time. I will text her in the morning to make sure she is not mad at me. I was on her time. I should not have been talking to Melanie, but that was the first time Melanie has called in a while, so I wanted to answer the call.

I get ready for work early this morning. I am not in a rush like yesterday. I cannot stay with her on the days I have to work. I cannot be late. I think I will go play volleyball today with the guys to give her a show. I want to see her again tonight. It is strange; Melanie has paid no attention to me, and now all of a sudden, she is interested in me again. I wonder if she knows about Tonya.<
