Aunt Caro and Linda found us seated on the grass a few meters away from mount Tom. Being close to the trail meant we occasionally got weird glances from passersby. Even with many interracial couples in south bend, people still acted like it was a strange phenomenon. Noah didn't seem to notice. May be I did because I had been feeling more insecure about myself since I arrived in this new country.
