chapter 28

Sanjiv's POV

Fleshing my eyes open I gazed at the emptiness of the darkness, it took a few seconds to adjust my vision in the murkiness of midnight hours. As my vision cleared my eyes fell on the glowing face of my wife, who was sleeping close to me. I could feel her warm breaths touching the tip of my nose. Koushy was in deep sleep, seems like she is in peace cause her stable face during sleep says all her mental health. She was sleeping facing me, her right hand was under her right cheek while another hand was on her waist. Due to her one-side sleeping position, her bread cheek caused her lips to pout.

After having dinner with a playful chit chat we drift into sleep, just like we do on routine. Earlier than usual today, because we have to attend koushy's friend Janaki's wedding early tomorrow morning. But from nowhere my sleep got disturbed.

The calm environment and the cold breeze were enough to put a person in a deep sleep
