Chapter 17

Greg Stevens made it out of the city of Baton with Monalisa’s baby Oscar feeling relieved that he was no longer at risk of being seen by the Vipers who were looking for him and his pack member whose Alpha had refused to help him seek justice for the unjust killing of his wife and son.

Greg quickly pulled out of the road so that he could check on baby Oscar whom he had kept hidden at the back seat of his car, feeling afraid the whole time that he would cry and draw some attention to him. He was afraid of being caught because of him and was also a little afraid of the child’s silence as he did not want him to die on him especially because of the purpose he has for him.

Greg glanced around after he got out of the car to make sure that there was no one in sight who could see what he was about to do.

“Okay boy,” Greg said as he picked out baby Oscar from the back seat of the car where he had hidden him, groaning a little too in pain because of the wounds he sustained while trying to escap
