Rose, who recently married Alfonso, was still the talk of the country in Italy. With their wedding bells still ringing in their ears and their newly founded family and friends, they were eager to see exactly where life was taking them. Little did Rose know that her relationship would soon be tested by an unexpected revelation involving her mother-in-law's friend, Martha.

Rose had heard her mother-in-law mention Martha's name in passing over the months. Mrs. Tommaso and Martha had been friends for ages, sharing stories and laughter. Though Rose had never met Martha in person, she trusted her mother-in-law's good judgment and didn't think much about their friendship.

One evening, while Rose was clearing the room her mother-in-law had stayed in while she came visiting, she inadvertently stumbled upon a photograph tucked away in an old album. Flipping through the pages, she froze as she saw a picture of Martha with Alfonso, her husband. It looked innocent e
