Ivy dug her nails into her palms, gritting her teeth. She forced a smile at Lora and replied, “Thank you, Miss Davis… that’s so kind of you. However, Ryan has been looking for the best doctor for me… I’m sure he will arrange one for me soon. Thanks for the concern though.”

Lora nodded. She already knew that Ivy would reject her offer, but the way Ivy’s face drained of colour when she mentioned treating her legs made Lora squint her eyes in suspicion.

Why did she become anxious when Lora mentioned introducing her to experts? It was also strange that Ryan had failed to find an expert to treat Ivy after all these years. The man could move mountains for Ivy, so why did it take so long to find the right treatment for her?

Could it be there was more to Ivy’s condition than meets the eye?
