Sera’s POV

I lay in my bed, still battling with nausea and dizziness as I watched Aria move around my bedroom to tidy up a little.

She was humming a tone with no care in the world. The pack’s reality remained unknown to her.

‘You know, she could pass for a wonderful little mole. So innocent and unassuming!’ came Amary’s voice in my mind.

She’s been a bit too chatty of late.

I wonder what happened to staying stoic and muted?

‘ So could countless innocent members of the pack. Both old and new,’ I retorted.

‘Not everyone is missing a wolf aura!’ Amary said with a snarl.

I was just about fed up with Amary’s scathing remarks.

‘Why don’t you sniff out the mole and save us all the stress, since you are so-’

‘Alpha.’

Aria’s words interrupted my inner battle with Amary, and I looked up to find her standing before me, holding a food tray.

‘Cindy was worried since you haven’t eaten all day. She asked that I bring you an early lunch.’

I realized that I had not had breakfast all day. I was so pr

  • Her Second Chance Alpha   Three Moons

Sera’s POVThe Starlight Pack, WerewoodsThree Months Later…My paws crushed the grass beneath as I raced through the woods near the borders of the pack, tails wagging in excitement. The morning dew from the leaves dripped on my furry back, and I shivered as I ran.“You seem even more excited than I am,” Amary noted in a wary voice.I rolled my eyes as I ran past the little stream at the edge of the borders, my eyes catching my blurry reflection as I went.“There are new things to be excited about every day!” I exclaimed, unaffected by Amary’s lack of enthusiasm.“Who knew that I could remain in wolf form and still keep control?”My voice reflected my amazement. These past three months have been a rollercoaster of highs and lows. My mate and I had struggled to adjust to caring for the pups and juggling pack duties as well. The days were hectic and exhausting, but the nights were hot and exciting as Draco made sure we explored our bond as much as possible.Waking up every morning and

  • Her Second Chance Alpha   Starlight Pack (End Part 2)

Draco’s POV Sera took my arm, and we walked into the circle at the center of the expanse of grass. The pack had gathered, and each stood in silence as we approached. The twins walked ahead, carefully dropping flower petals as they’d practiced, their serious expressions making them look mature for their age. Sebastian and Millie followed behind as our witnesses, representing the bonds of the pack and the friendship of its leaders. Elder Selene raised her hands once we reached the center. The pack fell silent, leaving the whisper of wind through the trees and the distant call of night birds in the space. “We gather tonight under the light of the full moon to witness the joining of two Alphas, two souls, two packs,” Selene began, her voice carrying clearly through the still air. “Draco and Sera would bind themselves in love and the sacred duty of leadership.” I felt Sera’s hand tighten in mine, and I squeezed back reassuringly. We had been through too much together,

  • Her Second Chance Alpha   The Mating Ceremony (End Part 1)

Draco’s POVThe silver rays of the moon filtered through the tree leaves, casting shadows across the pack grounds as I glanced around the wide expanse of lush grasses outside the pack house.I took a deep breath of the crisp air while joy bubbled beneath my skin.Today was our mating ceremony, and the night view was beautiful. After the roller coaster of experiences these past months, today would mark not just our official mating ceremony, but the start of a new chapter for the pack.I watched as pack members ran around, hanging garlands of moonflowers and silver ribbons between the trees. The sight filled me with a sense of satisfaction that I hadn’t felt in a long time. The pack, once awkward and unfamiliar, now functioned as one. It was everything I had dreamed of when the merger idea had come to me on that day.It was the only way to ensure that my mate and I stayed together without either of us losing the pack that we loved. And we’d achieved it.We brought the pack together and

  • Her Second Chance Alpha   Home

Draco’s POVThe familiar scent of the pack hit my nostrils as we left the pack’s borders and approached the pack house.Home. After everything that had happened, the word had never meant more. The pack house came into view, and I could see figures moving on the porch—Millie, Grace, Max, and several other pack members who had stayed behind to guard the pack in our absence.“Sera! Sera!!” The sound of Ruby calling out to Sera reached us even before we laid eyes on her. We’d just reached the steps when two small bodies launched into my mate’s arms.I reached out to take Pup from her arms so she could attend to her siblings.“Careful,” Sera laughed, tears filling her eyes as she knelt to embrace the twins. “Careful of the pup.”Ruby turned to glance at the bundle in my arms, eyes lit with curiosity.“Is she okay?” She asked, her green eyes wide with worry. “The wicked lady didn’t hurt her?”“It’s a ‘he’,” Sera corrected with an amused smile.Ruby’s face crunched up at Sera’s words.“A

  • Her Second Chance Alpha   Bloodlines

Draco’s POVThe path back to the pack stretched before us, seeming unending, yet as we drew closer, I felt a calm settle in my chest at the thoughts of our victory.I glanced down at the small bundle in Sera’s arms — our son, now back to us. His little fingers curled around my large ones, and I felt a burden in my chest ease for the first time in weeks. My mate walked beside me, cradling our pup with a fierce protectiveness that was satisfying to watch.“I still can’t believe we got him back,” Sera whispered, her voice carrying the same disbelief we both felt. “All this time, Aria was right there in the pack, just watching us...” Her voice trailed off, and her jaw clenched with barely contained rage.“She’s gone now,” I said firmly, shifting our pup to one arm so I could reach out and squeeze my mate’s free hand. “She can’t hurt anyone anymore.” Aria’s last moments in that ancient temple remained a disturbing mystery. The way the shadows had consumed her, and her voice had echoed

  • Her Second Chance Alpha   Not One Heart

Sera’s POVThe temple walls pulsed brighter, and I felt something pulling at me, to drag me toward the altar at the center of the room. But I fought it, my wolf rising to meet the challenge.“But you made one mistake,” I said, my voice steady despite the chaos in my chest. “You assumed I’d go along with your plans quietly, remaining pliant in your hands, unable to fight back.”Moving out from behind my mate, I stood face to face with the source of all my misfortunes. The sweet little Aria, who even now held a wide smile as she watched me.I went into a half-shifted state, letting my wolf’s strength flow through me as I lunged forward. But Aria was ready. She’d always been ready. Aria sidestepped my attack with inhuman speed and then dangled my pup over the altar. She held him suspended above carved channels that I now realized were to collect blood.“One more step and I drop him,” Aria warned, her voice no longer human.I froze, my heart stopping as I watched my pup’s slight form s
