Lorenzo’s POV

“Alice?” I called again, my voice shaking slightly, almost cracking.

I knew it was impossible. I kept telling myself it was impossible. But something deep inside me couldn’t rest after hearing that voice. My head was telling me it couldn’t be, but my chest felt like it was being squeezed. How could it sound so much like her?
