LOGINDruida P.O.V.Elisa refused to talk to me when I went into the cellars after dinner. All she did was shout profanities at me, and tell me Anicka would kill me before I could ruin her plans. I put that little information tidbit into the back of my mind, and just shook my head at her. Then I locked her down with windchains again, making sure they were tight and would remain so. I also put hidden alerts in my magic surrounding her, making it impossible to free her without me being informed. A thought that suddenly struck me when she mentioned Anicka’s name. Afterwards Silvan found me on the stairs, going upwards towards my room, which was going to be mine and Lucas’s from now on, and I was giddy to come back to him. Silvan told me he had Lucas in the Great Hall, and I was to follow him as well. I frowned, but did as he said. At one of the tables he had gathered Lucas, Tywin and Jess, while Cian was standing with a small smirk and amused eyes. And now we’re sitting here in the middle o
Elder Richard P.O.V.I’ve been quietly following Balder at a slight distance, watching how he has greeted people, made sure they had places to sit, blankets, things to drink and eat once the kitchen team came out with the first round of supplies. And I got to say I felt so proud, he was doing such a great job, and the vibe amongst the scared crowd was easing by the second he was walking around with a smile, and reassuring words. I, myself, also talked to people. Made sure children had mattresses to lie on, blankets and pillows. Harriet and the Omega Balder sent with her mindlinked me to keep them talking and eating for a little while, as they were sorting through placements as fast as they could. I gave this information to Balder and Cassian, who like his Alpha was doing his very best to greet people and make them comfortable. Packmembers came too. Word spread like wildfire, and suddenly children were getting a teddy, some new clothes or an adult gave a youngster a shoulder to lean
Balder P.O.V.‘Alpha, we got them.’ I’m awoken by the mindlink in the middle of night. I turn over to look at my phone and it says 2.13am, making me groan internally. ‘Got who exactly, and why couldn’t this wait until morning?’ I ask Derek, groggily trying to remember who, what, when and where. ‘We found Illisa’s parents and we located Lillie’s family as well. They were captured with Illisa’s parents. They want to see the girls. We also got what we could of the coven for now, and we’re moving them as fast as we can, but we need the Luna and Illisa. We have already been attacked by strange creatures thrice.”I shake the fog from my brain, now wide awake. They actually found them? I didn’t think they could? It’s been four days since Derek and Adria left, and the girls killed Jade, making sure she could never come back from the dead. They cleansed the interrogation room after her remains were removed, and then they buried her in a blessed grave, making sure no one could ever touch her
Druida P.O.V.I can’t believe that bitch has the fucking audacity to attack me within the walls of this place, but she must have lost all of her sense, and Jessica is willing to sacrifice her like a lamb to the slaughter. Well, fine then. Raven is pacing in our secret place, needing to have a place to stretch and growl where no one but I can hear her. She knows she can’t risk coming forward and spoiling everything, but she is so pissed off by the witch's insanity, she had to do something. A cloud of silver glittering smoke floats towards me. I know nothing good is going to come out of touching it, so I create an airpocket bubble, cocoon it and squash it with a plop, making sure no one is touched by whatever nastiness she sends my way. My sole focus on her, even though I can feel Cian’s pain and know he is injured. ‘I got him, starlight, just concentrate on the witch and do not die.’ Lucas mindlink me, sending a quick image of him and Cian in safe distance. Alora is hovering over her
Lucas P.O.V.Druida plays her part perfectly, making Silvan eat right out of her palm. That was not the part of the plan I was worried about. He has always been a self-absorbed idiot, who would swallow whatever nonsense one threw at him, as long as it played into his own plans and schemes. No the ones I’m worried about are Jessica and Tywin, being Tywin most and the Jessic less. She can be quick and dangerously alert if she wants to be, but she just doesn’t. She was to think she is, and then be catered to by all who is around her, because it’s too much work. Tywin however is another ballgame altogether. He is a former Alpha, and even if he has proven to be a dimwitted idiot while he has been here, I do not think that is who he actually is, but who he chooses to show. It’s something Cian and I agree is a problem, and something we have to eliminate soonest, which is another reason this plan is perfect. We force his hand as I work my way into my brother’s good graces bit by bit. First
Druida P.O.V.I knock, he yells come in. I open the door, walking in with no expectations whatsoever, especially not expecting to see him actually pouring over paperwork and maps with troop movements. I raise an eyebrow but don’t comment. “You’re back?” He asks, and I nod. “And?” “I got something to tell you, but first we found someone in the forest when we were on our way back. Also we lost Kennock.” “You lost Kennock?” “He lost us?” I say and he frowns. “He chose to show his true colors and I killed him. He was a fucking spy Silvan. Did you know?” “What? No..” “Good, because if you did.. Anyway, this dumb fucker says he is your brother.” I wave for Kane and one of his men to haul Lucas into the room. All color, what little he had anyway, drains from Silvan's face when he sees Lucas. Then he looks at me with suspicion, which quickly turns to a giant fucking smile. “Little brother, it’s been ages.” He says, his voice sickly sweet and I suddenly want to gag.“So, he was telling
Druida P.O.V. The moon is on its highest when we reach the point where I can teleport us past the Iron Mountain pack and into the lands of the vampires. I need to be precise to land on the Royal coven’s grounds and not some ambitious High Lords. Kennock has been quietly following me since we depa
Jessica P.O.V.I storm back to my own room and not the one I share again with Silvan. I summon Freya to my side when I’m there and ask her to close and lock the door. I need some peace and quiet to think, and I need her twisted little mind to bounce ideas off of. I got rid of Abast and Gillian, and
Lucas P.O.V.I have been in the camp for two weeks now, observing, training and gathering information for my parents. It’s draining to suppress my vampire aura all the time, but I have to if I don’t want Silvan to know who I really am. I need him to keep thinking I’m Kennock of the North and not Cr
Druida P.O.V. “Druida, what are we going to do now?” Missy whispers as we walk down the hall on the first floor to my work room. I look at her, feeling my heart hurt for her and her mate. They are innocent in all of this, and I can’t just send them into their graves. I notice Freya and Jessica sm
