Druida P.O.V.

Days bleed together, and somehow I find myself in my workroom, door closed and sealed so no one can gain access; magical or by blunt force. I take out the hidden crystals from the cupboard no one but I have access to and take a deep breath. Lucas tries to reach me through our bond, sensing my emotions going rigid with what I’m about to do, but I just ignore him. I need to do this, and it’s long overdue. I think I’ve been putting it off because I’m afraid of what I’ll find.

The sun is moving on the sky outside, and I know I’ll have to move fast as I have a meeting with Silvan and his new war captains at noon and we’re getting close. I gather the crystals in both my palms, sitting down in a crisscross position on the floor and closing my eyes. I mumble the enchantment activating the crystals feeling the magic flowing from me into them.

As I open my eyes one of them shows my current timeline, the one I’m creating and it doesn’t look halfbad, but the other.. I look at the

  • Her True Mate   The rival, who is not

Lucas P.O.V.Druida decides to keep the majority of the enemy in her air prison, while she takes the gag from the man spewing profanities at her before. He spits on the ground, seemingly aiming for her shoes. I growl at him, Ulric riding just under my skin, coming forward in my mind, not liking neither this idiot or the one throwing a tantrum in the forest. Druida taps my chin, her eyes shining in amusement and warmth. “Easy, he is not worth the emotions.” She says, her voice deadly calm, her aura dangerous. Angel walks forward, her hands upwards, her eyes blazing with malice and intent. Her aura is even more dangerous than my mates at the moment, but I keep my position besides Druida, never wavering, never stepping even a small step back. I’m no wimp, no simple warrior or regular guy. I’m the Crown Prince of the vampires and I’m her mate. Her first mate, her only and true mate. The one in the forest may pretend all he likes, but at the end of the day he is a demon in his soul, and

  • Her True Mate   The unforeseen Angel

Cian P.O.V.I sigh as the last gate to the Underworld closes behind me. I know father would lock Alora and I out of there if he could, and I’m very relieved with the thought that he can’t, but it still sounds ominous as the last of the locks click into place. “Why did that feel so final?” Alora asks, staring at the gate door. I laugh, hugging her side, glad I’m not completely alone in my gloom. “They can’t lock us out, sis. But you’re right, it did feel kind of weird and…” The bushes behind us rustle in a way they shouldn’t. I push my sister behind me, although she is beside me a second later. We’ll have to talk about that. “If you’re here to harm us..” “I would never do such a foolish thing.” A woman answers, coming out with her hands forward and open so we can see she is unarmed. I can feel the magic pulse in her though, so I keep my guard up. “Then what can we do for you?” I ask, trying to stay polite and calm. The woman looks at us, her eyes too old for her young appearance

  • Her True Mate   Court of hellfire

Unknown P.O.V.I know it was probably a mistake to go topside, but I had to see her. Smell her. Feel her. I did not count on her being away when I finally got through all the gates, and out into the realm of air and sky. I tracked her through our bond, feeling her emotions, getting glimpses of her whereabouts, and I knew she was alright. Otherwise I would have raised all sorts of hell upon the people around her. Another thing I did not count on was him; her other mate. The golden retriever half/half werewolf/vampire Crown Prince. I will have to be cautious with him as he can prove to be very essential to my woman's happiness in the future. It annoys me, but who am I to argue with the Goddess, especially now that she finally blessed me with someone as extraordinary as my little time-thief. I’m intrigued, and very aware that this can be the weight that tips the scale to the other side. I decided to travel to her camp and see for myself what horrors she lives through every day. Ever sin

  • Her True Mate   Jessica's request

Druida P.O.V. The next morning I don’t even manage to get out of my room before someone is knocking insistently. I wave my hand, making it open without having to interrupt what I’m doing. Outside Freya is wringing her hands, and almost stepping one foot over the other. “Goodmorning wicca. Come in.” She steps in, and I wave my hand to the door again, sending a small invisible fire along the edges of the doorframe, the windows and garden door, to block eavesdroppers. “What can I do for you?” I ask, braiding my hair while keeping an eye on her in the mirror. “I.. Did you have a good travel?” She asks, fishing out a piece of heavy parchment. I raise an eyebrow, turning to take the dense paper from her hands. “You can speak freely, Freya. I am protecting this room from outside snoopers.” She sighs with relief, nodding. “Where on earth did you find this kind of parchment?” I open the fold, reading it over while she explains that she found it in Jessica's workroom. It’s filled with all

  • Her True Mate   Higher stakes

DruidaAfter a couple of days, and some very demanding messages from Silvan that I return at once because he needs my advice, Lucas and I decide it’s time to return to camp. I reach out to Angel, so we can work the disguise spell on him, making it more permanent and workable. I’ve looked it over the time we’ve been here and worked out the kinks and loops, and found out how to make it possible for Lucas to activate and deactivate the spell without our need to be there. “I gave them the message.” Angel says in the workroom, not looking at me. I in turn also keep mixing my ingredients for the artifact we’re making. “And?” “And we got a visit from the Moon Goddess, dammit.” She snaps, making me sigh. Why on earth would the Moon Goddess visit them unless what I shared with her was something.. No, not going there. “What did she say?” I’m trying very hard to sound casual, and keep working to hide my shaking hands. It’s serious to a whole other degree if the Moon Goddess decided to pay th
