Elder Richard P.O.V.Iron Mountain pack “Papa?” I look up from the concerning papers on my desk to see my adopted son Allen in the door to my office, rubbing his eyes and hiding in the doorframe. “Allen, aren’t you supposed to be sleeping m’boy?” I ask, opening my arms for him. He runs into them, snuggling in close and sighing. I kiss his hair and close my eyes for a second, just relishing in his sweet child smell and the warmth of his presence. “I had a nightmare.” He whispers, his body trembling at the memory. I snuggle him closer, waiting for him to continue. It’s not the first time he has had a nightmare, and he always tells us what it is. This time though he doesn't seem like he is willing to tell me. Maybe he just needed to get some snuggles and see that whatever he dreamed is not real? “Alpha says we are going to war.” He says finally and I sigh. So that is what is on his mind. Usually it’s nightmares from his time back in Blackmoon, before Liam and Maddison knew he and hi

Druida P.O.V.All this time I have been playing double agent, I didn't think I would succeed in gaining the trust of the ranked members of this conspiracy, but now I am in more danger than ever before. All of them here think I am specifically on their side, but Maddie knows I am only ever on hers. She saved me when everything with the Coven we were visiting went down, and healed me despite the fact I had fought for the other side. She said she sensed I wasn’t a bad person and more or less had been forced to do something I didn’t want or believe in, and she was right. They had held my “siblings” in captivity back at the Coven house, saying it didn’t matter if we were Coven members or visiting witches. Maddie saved our lives and I will follow her to the realm of the underworld and back again without question, so when she came to me with this mission right after we discovered where Jessica and Tywin were, I quickly agreed. But now the stakes are higher than ever. I hate to have lied t

Lucas P.O.V.After getting my things moved from my cabin to my room at the castle; long live teleporting, I try to gather myself before dinner. My rooms consist of a total of three rooms; a drawing room/living room, an office and my bedroom. It has comfy furniture, as I like it and is held in autumn colors. In the drawing room I have a large couch, chairs for visitors, a coffee table and countless bookshelves along the walls. It also has a door to a large balcony, which overlooks the large garden. My office is typical with a desk, a chair and shelves for papers etc. It’s very organized otherwise I would get lost in there easily. My bedroom has a king size four poster bed, end table on either side of the bed, beautiful paintings on the walls and a TV hanging so I can lay in bed and watch movies. The ensuite bathroom has a built in shower, a bathtub big enough for four and everything else one could wish for. Everything is the color scheme of autumn (orange, cobber, dark red, brown et

Druida P.O.V. I wake in the night from an incessant knocking on my door. I groan as I slip out of bed, cursing whoever is waking me and promising all kinds of torments if this is not absolutely crucial. Outside Freya has her hand raised to knock again. Her eyes are wide and frightened, her face pale and mouth drawn into a thin line. I raise an eyebrow at the scared young woman before gesturing to her silently to come in.I close the door, letting my magic stretch the room for privacy without letting her know. It’s a nice change to have all my powers again, and it was such a power surge when they were awakened after my birth - that sounds wrong. But in the future my brother has almost all my powers bound because he was scared of me and what I could do, and here I am a child and have all my powers, so my adult self also has all of them, seeing as I’m technically before the time where he bound me. Goddess that’s complicated. “Sit. What can I do for you in the middle of the night, Freya

Lucas The night air brushes through my hair as I travel through the mountains close to the Iron Mountain pack borders. I decided to go myself, as I want to see my mate and it’s more difficult for her to leave Silvan’s court, than it is for me to leave mine right now. Angel said she would be with her for a couple of days around this time, so now is perfect for me to travel there and insert myself as a hired man. “When you are there, just break this stone and I’ll know where to teleport to disguise you. Remember, you are not to claim her. You are there to see her, speak to her and get to know her, but you are not there to claim her as yours. That would bring you both into danger that’s very unnecessary right now.” “I know, I will make sure to keep myself under control. Will the disguise hide my true self from her?” “No, it will only hide you from Silvan and his cohorts. I need her help to create the disguise in the first place, so she’ll know someone is coming, and
