Okay, to be wholly truthful. Zoe did try all her possible best to stay away from Alex after the game on friday but It was just too hard to do. She tried to avoid him in the school hallway but he did stop Bella and them since Bella now strolled around school with them.

The dance practice hall was the worst, there wasn't any place she could hide from him there. When he did talk to Zoe! She would pretend like she couldn't hear him but after a while she found herself laughing at his jokes or thinking about stuff he said earlier during the day.

So she gave up every attempt to avoid Alex. After a bit of thinking, she didn't come out with any serious reason why she shouldn't be friends with him. He had promised never to bring up the night at the party which gave her total relief.
