Chapter 19

The sun set slowly over the meadow, painting the sky in shades of pink and gold. and Alex and I stood together, watching the light fade. As the darkness fell, I felt a strange sense of peace. Then, I felt a gentle hand on my shoulder. I turned , and found myself looking into Alex eyes. In that moment, all the tension and uncertainty of the past days melting away. I know that whatever comes next, we will face it together. Alex leaned in and brushed a kiss across my cheek.

For a moment, I was frozen, caught off guard by the unexpected gesture. Then, a slow smile spread across my face. I reached out and took Alex hand. "Thank you," I said . "For everything."

"You don't need to thank me," he said . "We're in this together." And with that, he pulled me close, and we shared a long, tender kiss. As the darkness settles around us, I know that I have Alex, and that I can face whatever the future holds
