Chapter 6

Moving my body I tried to find a comfortable position but to no avail, All my life I've been used to sleeping on a huge soft bed and it's my first time sleeping on a sofa.

I can see how hard the life I'm going to live in the future looks like.

"Miss, Wake up. I think we have been kidnapped" I heard Helen's voice.

"Let me sleep a little longer" I muttered and turned to the side, but wait!

"Helen!" I snapped my eyes open and turned to see her staring back at me.

"You! How are you feeling" I sat up and looked at her up and down.

"I'm fine." She smiled to reassure me but I don't look like I want to be reassured at this moment.

"Are you really ok? No discomfort? That scumbag didn't do that right?!" Holding her hands and looked at her deeply.

"No. I'm strong so I can't just let it happen" She patted my hands to reassure.

"But still... It's all my fault, I shouldn't have been selfish to leave you there all alone" Thinking of her state yesterday I can't help but want to cry again.

"Miss don't cry, It really has nothing to do with you" Helen patted her back to console m e

"Anyways it's good that you are fine" I snorted.

"What did you say about us being kidnapped earlier?" I suddenly thought of the reason she woke me up.

"Miss, Don't you see that we are in a strange room. We must have been kidnapped" She looked around wearily and whispered.

"Is not..." I tried to talk to her.

"Don't worry Miss, I will make sure you escape from here safely" She stood and started looking around really trying to find a way to escape.

Come to think of it. It doesn't seem like a bad idea to escape, I went on to provoke someone that I'm not supposed to provoke.

"There must be a way" Helen kept muttering while looking around.

"The door" I rolled my eyes at her exaggeration.

"Yes! The Door" She walked to the door and opened it with a click.

"Miss! Look it opened, Let's go immediately before they come back" She rushed back to me and dragged me along with her.

It's not my plan to escape but if she succeeds in helping me escape then that won't be a problem again.

"Omg! What way are we supposed to follow?" She asked looking at the empty corridor.

"Left" I yawned slightly.

"Yes Left!" She repeated and dragged me to the left side.

"In front there is a gate!" Once again I told her the way to leave while she dragged me together.

"Going somewhere?!" The voice that sent shivers down my spine sounded as I turned around sharply.

"Miss, Don't worry I will protect you!" Helen didn't hesitate to stand in front of me even though she was also shivering.

"Don't worry about me, Protect yourself first" I patted her back and looked up at the man that leaned at the door with his sliver mask on.

He wore a loose red robe and his well chiseled chest couldn't help but grace me eyes, Wow! 

"Emmm, We just came out to have some fresh air" I touched my nose.

"Miss!" Helen matched my foot before I could say further.

"What is it?!" I clutched my foot and asked pouting.

"You are not supposed to reply" She had the look of horror.

"But he asked a question" I felt aggrieved.

"My lord! We lowly wolves apologize for not knowing the basic courtesy!" Helen knelt with a bang and kept hitting her head on the floor.

"What are you doing?!" I squatted and held her stopping her from breaking her forehead.

"Miss you are really clueless" She muttered.

"What am I clueless about?" I whispered and looked up to see him still standing there.

"Those who replied to The Silver King's words are all lying ten feets down" She muttered.

"Don't exaggerate...." I paused and thought of the guard that died in front of me.

"Go back" He dropped two words as I raised my eyes to look at him, he was no longer there.

"Huh? Where did he go to?" I looked around but I don't even know how he disappeared.

"Miss we are in trouble" Helen held my shoulder so that I can face her.

"What happened? And why are we in trouble, is not like we really did something bad" I rolled my eyes and tried to stand up but she held me down.

"What?!"

"How did you Provoke the Silver Demon King?!" Helen looked at me and asked me seriously as if I have committed some sort of taboo.

"How am I supposed to know? I only asked him to marry me and he agreed. He even saved you and killed that guard" 

"So you were not kidnapped?"

"Of course not. If I was how would I have known the way to leave"

"Miss that's not the problem at the moment, She looked at me and said once again.

"What could be the problem this time? I just asked Alpha Santiago to marry me and nothing else?" I'm looked at her in doubt.

"That's because you really don't know anything about him, Miss! You are clueless of tte outside world" She touched her forehead seeming tired of me.

"Is he that scary?" I moved my head closer and asked her.

"He is the Alpha of all Alphas. He can control the Alphas of any pack!" Helen explained his identity.

"That means I won a jackpot!" I smiled happily. I knew it that my eyes cannot see wrongly, When I first saw him I knew there was something special about him.

"No. You threw yourself to hell fire! There is this history that the Sun Goddess and the Moon Goddess are known for their enemity towards each other.

And this war has gone for ages." 

"So?" I raised my brows.

"The Moon Goddess always create us with kindness in her heart, but this went wrong when The Silver Demon was created. The Sun Goddess interrupted and gave up half of his powers to the innocent child that the moon goddess created.

Hoping that he will rise that destroy the races of the Wolves, His eyes are like flames that suck people in and burn them down. He kills and no one dares look up to him!

He is a demon who is a threat in the wolf world!" Helen finished her story and looked like she will cry.

"How can you marry such a person!" 

"But he hasn't done anything wrong, If he is strong enough then that's why all Wolf Packs are still existing, He must have protected the wolves from any form of Invasion by strange creatures" I looked at her and said.

"He is scary but if not for him, I would have died and no one knows what would have happened to you. You saw him earlier he doesn't care about the fact that I replied him, it must be the rumors that are deceiving you guys." I explained sincerely at the same time trying to convince her.

"But..."

"Helen we got a second chance so let's live well ok." I patted her shoulder as she finally nodded.

"Let's go prepare, We will start a new chapter of our lives today" After speaking I turned to head back as I saw a flash of red.

"Huh? What's that?"
