Fearless hearts

The deadly mountains were silent as death like they had come to a stop, I could hear my breathing so loud like the pounding of my heart, it felt like it was about to burst out from my ribCage, as I looked around, I could see…nothing?!

Even when I put my hands in front of me I couldn’t see anything at all, I hoped I wasn’t the one that had gone blind instead.

I kept walking forward, my hands reached out to touch the trees I came across, to give a sense of guidance as I use that as a path, even though I had no close where I was going

I did not want to show my fear, because I didn’t know where I was or what was lurking, everywhere was completely dark, I couldn’t hear anything, it was like a dark smoke covered my eyes and every sensory nerve making me feel almost numb

“ alright Freya you need to calm down, don’t panic” I whispered to myself as I looked around

I tried to concentrate my power, to use my powers to hear, to search for the sound of them, but it was no use!
