An afterthought: happiness.

“Lynx Damian Blackwell! get down from that tree!” Freya muttered as she huffed out holding onto her little girl Fiona while he son swung up the oak tree

She couldn’t believe how different her twins were while her son was wild and outgoing, Fiona was quieter and loved to push her lead into books,

“Mom I told you I’m scouting the ground for little army men!” And by that, he meant squirrels and Freya wasn’t having any of it, her six-year-old son was going to drive her mad!

“ I swear by the moons lynx there will be no outside or playing for a week!” She threatened and he hears a gasp of disbelief from her son who frantically made his way down the tree,

But he was too fast and missed a branch before he could reach the ground a pair of arms had caught him and it was his father Lucien “Gotcha you little runt!”

“ dad!” Lynx squeaked out with laughter as he squirmed in Lucien’s hands before Lucien set his son on his shoulders, and Freya her racing heart had calmed, and her mate and son smi
