Cody ran off, leaving me with a wolf. I should have tried to walk around the wolf and go with him, but something told me to stay where I was. My legs started to ache, so I sat down. I realize if this strange wolf hadn’t shown up, Cody would have done the worst thing he ever thought about doing to me. I couldn’t help the tears that ran down my face as I let myself cry. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw the wolf moving closer to me, and I readied myself for it to attack me, but it stopped right next to me. Soon though, the thoughts of what might have happened left me. My whole body began to hurt. It felt like I was being ripped apart from the inside out, and I wished the wolf would just attack me and get it over with. I lay down on my side, crying heavier.
