Chapter 11: Father and Son
Rui was now preparing Eon for bed. She gave him a quick shower and dressed him in his pajamas.
The cute little boy is now laying down on their bed.
Just before Rui can also tuck herself in, she heard her son ask, “So if my daddy is cool, why is he not with us?”
Rui was once again caught off guard by her son's questions. This time around, she doesn't know whether she has to answer truthfully or change the topic.
Seeing that his mother stayed silent after hearing his question, Eon sighed. He knew it was hard to probe questions from his mother. “Maybe you're still angry with my daddy that's why...” Eon paused and yawned. “Can mom… forgive my dad? I also want to meet him…” he added before falling asleep.
