She knew he was a monster and will never survive if she continues to be with him. She forgave him for what he did to her and still tried to make this work but it seemed like he was hell-bent on destroying it.
Moreover, she was shocked he could pull such a stunt in her own house, near her parents. She was never the person to wish bad for someone but, Jason made her do it. She wished he never came into her life. Had she denied the marriage, she would not have experienced any of this. She wanted her parents to be happy and thought they wouldn't be wrong in choosing her a man to spend the rest of her life with.
