"Ma'am someone is at the entrance and is asking for you, should I send them away?" the guard spoke through the intercom.
"Who is it? Can I get a name?" Courtney asked him.
"One moment," he mumbled something to the person. "Ma'am it's someone named George Gregory" he replied.
"Let him in," Courtney said and moved away from the intercom. She walked towards the door and saw George's car enter. She walked down the stairs to meet him. She guided him inside and gestured him to take a seat. He sits down and she sits opposite of him.
"Thanks for meeting me abruptly" George spoke in a very formal tone.
Jason slowly pushed the door open and entered the room. His head hung low and walked slowly without making any noise."What are you doing here?"Anger and a pain-filled voice pierced his ears. He didn't reply but moved close and looked up."I...I"he was at a loss of words. He stared at the figure in front of him.Courtney had turned her head to her left and her arms were crossed against her chest. She didn't spare him a single glance."Your ultrasound appointment is scheduled for the next hour,"he spoke looking at her."Thank you so much for the information. You can show yourself out now."She
JASONIt's been 2 weeks. 2 whole fucking weeks. It's been 5 weeks since I last saw her. I have no clue where Courtney is. I've been searching for her everywhere. She was living in one of my hotels and was oblivious about it. I used to keep tabs on her. Then one day, she just disappeared. Out of the blue.I shouldn't have done that. I was such an asshole. I drove her away. What the hell was I thinking? But she did things that make me hate her.'You are not even sure. How can you doubt her?'a voice in mind questioned.'No! Iknow her very well. She did it!'I answered. While I was still fighting

~one week ago~Jason woke up with something soft and long all over his chest. He looked down to see Courtney's light brown hair scattered everywhere. His head was throbbing. He rubbed his eyes to check if he wasn't dreaming. One of his hands was wrapped around her waist and the other was on her head. His eyes widen in shock. He shuts his eyes close to remember what happened last night, that she ended up in his bed. He looked down at her only to see her naked. Her head was resting on his chest while her right hand was on his abs. Looking at her sleeping form, he slowly remembered what happened last night. The memories were blurry but, enough for him to know what happened.'No. I could not have slept with her. No! This can't be happening.'He got out
COURTNEY"So is this all you want?" George asked me."Yes,"I said and slightly nodded my head."Alright then, we just have to wait."he flipped the pages and looked at me."Are you sure?" He quirked his eyebrow up."One hundred percent,"I reply without budging."I have to send these over to his attorney and we'll be good," George said."Thanks, George." I smile at him."I'll ask you one last ti
"you are back!"Courtney squealed. It was more like mocking him. She looked towards the wall clock and looked back at Jason and raised one of her eyebrows. She was a mess. She had been crying the whole night. She wanted nothing more than to move out of his house in the morning. She was so depressed that she hadn't eaten anything since last afternoon. Nobody cared if she was alive or dead, especially not the man she loved more than herself. She just kept staring at his beautiful grey orbs. She had a hint of despair. He didn't back down either and looked at her blue ones with much desperation. He had never seen something as beautiful as her eyes. Her eyes were a fire in water. They kept looking into each other as if they were reading each other's minds. None
