The called connected on the first ring.

"Good day, Sir." Charles face appeared on my screen.

In order not to raise any suspicions from Allison, I had chosen to have the call with Charles outside the Villa.

While on the call, she'd think I was in a business meeting.

"How is my daughter doing?" This was the first question I asked him.
