“What did I hear you say? How come? She can't die, I didn't even hit the chair on the sensitive place, She can't die” Dunn mouthed bursting into hot and regretful tears.

“ I was just joking” Laura bursted into heavy laughter holding her stomach.

Dunn was dumbstruck, She jumped to where Laura was and hit her hard on the head.

“What kind of prank is that? Do you know I almost had a cardiac arrest? ” Dunn screamed, almost deafening Laura.

“ You should have thought about the consequences of your actions if the chair met her in a sensitive area” Laura hissed, pushing Dunn off her.

“ That is not an excuse for the foolish prank though, I don't like it” Dunn pouted pretending to be angry.

“ Will you shut the hell up and try to look for a job? ” Laura chuckled softly, not moved by the doll impression displayed by Dunn.

“ I will try finding a job tomorrow and you will also help me”

“I even have an offer for you but I don't know whether you will like it because you are somehow picking” Laura mouthed, walking over to her bag to bring out a small paper.

“What is the offer all about? ” Dunn asked curiously.

“There is a vacant slot at the Rizma Clothing store but it's not a secretary's job,” Laura said, throwing the small paper at Dunn.

Dunn slowly opens the paper with mixed emotions. “ I hope to see a good result”.

“ Wow” Dunn jumped up after seeing the content of the letter.

“ How sure are you that you will get accepted? You shouldn't keep your hopes high before your disappointment skyrockets” Laura said. Laura's statement spoiled Dunn's happy mood immediately.

“ Why do you have to spoil the good energy? ” Dunn mouthed sadly.

“ I was just joking though, I'm sorry. When was the last time you heard from your parents? ” Laura questioned changing the topic.

“ My Mom and Dad are on a vacation in Hawaii and they don't want any disturbance so I don't think they can call me” Dunn hissed remembering her mother's statement making her feel jealous.

“ You are the one behind your problems, Your parents are comfortably rich and they love you and your junior brother. Instead for you to lean on them for a while so that you can rise but your adamant self won't agree” Laura hissed, frowning at her adamant friend.

“ You stop bringing up that issue or trying to convince me, I've told you several times that I don't want to rely on anyone. I want to be successful on my own without anyone's helping me” Dunn mouthed.

Her voice was already sounding angry and doubtful like she was doubting herself that she could eventually be successful.

“ You see, You are not even sure about your future being the one you want it to be. There are some people that for them to be successful, Someone has to bring them up” Laura tried advising her friend.

“ I'm not that someone, I will become successful by my hand work not through someone else” Dunn almost yelled.

“ It's fine, let's leave the topic. When are you planning to apply for the job? You know I have to follow you, Right?” Laura queries, to be sure how to reschedule her plans.

“ I'm planning on going on Monday which is two days from now, I need to tailor my CV again” Groaning of frustration escaped her lips tiredly.

Laura looked at her friend and smiled.

“To be successful you have to be stressed. Take a risk. ” Laura mouthed a few encouraging words which made Dunn laugh.

“You should stop working as a journalist and start motivational podcasting. People will love your channel”

“ I almost forgot, When last did you hear from Daniel” Dunn decided to bring the name up to tease Laura.

“ Who is Daniel?” Cluelessly Laura asked.

“ Daniel, Your Mexican boyfriend” Dunn squeaked trying hard not to laugh.

“I don't have any boyfriend, I'm single and searching” Laura denied.

“ He called me the day before yesterday, I forgot to tell you. He said that he will be landing here in New York next week” Dunn said, Laura was getting tensed already.

“Are you serious?" Was the question she asked curiously.

“ She blocked my number so I won't be able to call her, Right? You should relay this message to her that, She can't run from me forever. I will hunt her down” Dunn said, holding her laughter and frowning her face to look more serious.

“ What should I do now? I'm ruined!” Laura eventually submitted to the fear and tension coming from that name alone.

“ I don't know, I once advised you to break up with him when you noticed his truancy behavior but your love for him blocked your ears. Now you will deal with the consequences yourself” Dunn said unconcerned.

Laura's mood was officially down, She reminisced on her fights with Daniel as she regrets deeply.

“I was just joking,” Dunn eventually said and burst into mocking laughter.

“ What do I do now? I'm ruined!” Dunn mocked and ran into her room, locking the door from behind.

Laura's look alone could have sent her to her early grave.

“ The only way you can escape death today is if you don't come out” Laura rumbled angrily.

ON THE FLIGHT GOING TO CALIFORNIA.

Joan was seen yelling at a flight attendant in the VIP section of the plane.

“ Who are you to tap me? You didn't only tap me but also woke me up from my precious sleep. How dare you? ” She roared, waking most people in the plane.

They were just looking at her, Nobody involved themself.

“ I'm sorry ma, You were the one that told me to come wake you in the next thirty minutes,” The flight attendant said, confused about the reason why she was shouting.

“ Oh, I'm very forgetful, that is what you are insinuating, Right?” The next thing she did was land a slap on the flight attendant's face. The flight attendant met herself on the ground immediately stunned. She tried to process what just happened when Joan landed another one on her left face. Surprised reactions filled the VIP section as they looked at Joan.

“The next time you interrupt my sleep, That's the day you will lose your Job” . With that, She covered her face with a novel titled School of Supernaturals and closed her eyes slowly.

The flight attendant stood up gently and went away to attend to another person without showing a sign of pain or anger. She followed their job ethics well.

“ Why is this damned old rat calling me? ” She thought disgustingly and picked up the phone.

“What!” Joan yelled not getting what she heard on the phone well.
