"I called them, there is no trouble anywhere, we are not getting arrested." Laura mouthed and went out to them.

Laura said, half smiling, "Good morning Sir. I was the one that called the station."

"What was the problem? Our phones kept ringing at the police station, and I saw that you had called every one of them." One of the Cops who she recognized as their Boss said.

"I am not a techie to call hundreds of phones at once; I only called twice." Her smile was confused and off-putting.

"Pardon us, we have a criminal to apprehend, if you have nothing to say." Following that, the two police officers got into their vehicle and left.

Laura cast a bewildered glance around. “ What just happened?” Muttering, she felt a few pairs of eyes on her.

"Who is that?" Before storming into the house and slamming the door shut, she gave it some thought and glanced around.
