Briella sat inside the car while Brittany went into the restaurant to meet her client.

"Hello, Asher." She shook his hand before sitting down.

Asher wasted no time before diving into the main business that brought him. But while Brittany listened attentively, she was smiling at the offer she got and how the company's influence would be good for herself.

His mind could not help but wander back to her current situation. She made a promise she did not intend on keeping, but at the same time, the unforeseen outcome sounds appealing to her.

She could finally get to be with that one person she has ever felt something for.

Despite the wandering, she still listened and replied where necessary.
